Daita was a good-natured, twenty-three-year-old engineering researcher at the Kyushu branch of EAGLE's Japan Block. While a master of mechanics and mathematics, he often struggled with simple word puzzles and riddles. As a Judo champion, Daita was the strongest member of the team, possessing immense physical power and durability.

He was famous for his voracious appetite, particularly for large portions of curry rice, and was said to have ten siblings. As Kirenger, he was armed with the Ki Sticker, a versatile fighting pole that could be outfitted with various attachments, such as a high-impact punching fist. He also utilized the YTC Radio to jam enemy electronic circuitry and disrupt communications.

Having no individual vehicle, he rode in the sidecar of the Blue Machine and the Blue Star, and frequently served as the co-pilot for the Variblune and Varidreen aircraft. In Episode 55, Daita was promoted to Chief of the Kyushu EAGLE branch, leaving the team in the care of his successor, Daigoro Kumano. Following Kumano’s tragic death in battle against the Black Cross Army, Daita returned to active duty in Episode 67 to reclaim his place as Kirenger.
