Daigoro was recruited from EAGLE's trainee ranks to replace Daita Oiwa as Kirenger after Daita was promoted to Commander of the Kyushu branch. Though his time with the team was brief, he proved to be a capable warrior and a dedicated member of the Gorengers. Unlike his predecessor, Daigoro's favorite food was not curry, but rather cream puffs, also known as choux creams.

As Kirenger, he wielded the Ki Sticker, a versatile fighting pole capable of utilizing various modular attachments, including a punching fist. He also utilized the YTC Radio to jam enemy circuitry and disrupt Black Cross Army communications. He rode in the sidecar of the Blue Machine and the Blue Star, and served as a co-pilot for the Variblune and Varidreen sky vehicles.

In Episode 67, during a fierce battle with Can Opener Mask, Daigoro was tragically stabbed in the stomach by the monster's Can Opener Cutter. He died from his injuries, becoming the only Gorenger to fall in the line of duty. Following his sacrifice, Daita returned to the team to reclaim his position as Kirenger.
