Takayuki Hiba is a master of kendo and a close colleague of Ryusuke Owashi. Following Owashi's departure for space research, Takayuki stepped in to take over the mantle of Vul Eagle.

As a master of the sword, he brought a disciplined and lethal melee combat style to the Sun Vulcan team leadership.
