Episode Guide
Episode 1: "Tenshin Daaa!!" (It's Transformation!!)
A mysterious boy sings a love song and plays with his yo-yo. Ryou arrives at
his restaurant and is followed by Master Kaku. A monstrous tube monster takes
his friend and follows him through the streets. Cornered and at its mercy, he
rescued by a huge fire-breathing dragon who takes him. A weaken Ryou finds
himself in a strange base. He finds the Kiber Machines that come alive and the
red one chases him. He escapes and is cornered by three men who take him
back. He meets Master Kaku who tells him about harnessing chi power that he
demonstrates to or rather at him. The others introduce themselves as Daigo,
Kazu and Shouji. One of the Gorma, Gara appears with a suit case and two giant
orbs from another dimension meet. Lin arrives from the airport. Gara shows Shaddam and Zaidosu Lin from her suitcase full of Enlarging Bombs. Men in bikes chase Lin. When they corner her, she uses her chi power blowing wind at them. The men become Cotpotros and the five youths Master Kaku gathered fight them while on bikes. The strange boy from before comes forth and becomes Baron String and entangles the five, at his mercy. They transform into Dairanger and fight the Gorma. Ryou duels with Baron String, who was rusty at his technique. Ryou calls for his weapons using telekinesis. Master Kaku mediates and energy emits forth. Baron String uses of the Enlarging Bombs to become giant. Ryuranger calls on his new friend Ryuuseioh to combat the threat.
Episode 2: "Kiryoku Daaa!!" (It's Chi-Power!!!)

Ryuranger climbs inside the cockpit of Ryuuseioh and transforms into a warrior
form. The Dairanger join him. With this, they fight and destroy the Baron String.
Zaidosu tosses the Purse Priest out of a bag. Meanwhile, Shouji practices at boxing
while a boy encourages him. The boy notices a great basketball player, follows a stray basketball and the player turns the ball into a gourd and traps the child, kidnapping him. Tenmaranger fights the Purse Priest, who was disguised as the player. The Dairanger gather and Kaku dispatches them but singles out Shouji to train him. Shouji, who had his spirits down, ducks giant bowling ball-like balls flinging at him. He doesn't have much time to train, when Lin is kidnapped and he chases the Gorma Triumvirate's car to a ship. Shouji stealthy sneaks in while the other three Dairanger ride their Kiber Machines to the ship. The kidnapped children and Lin are under control of the gourds and sit in front of the Triumvirate. The Cotpotros chant is stopped twice. A grim reaper arrives to kill Lin who Gara singled out. Shouji busts in, disarming the grim reaper who turns out to be Purse Priest. The trio beat the two up but then the others come to the rescue and they fight the Gorma. Shouji uses his training to avoid the monster's flying gourds. The Dairanger defeat the monster. Shouji and the little boy continue their training and Lin thanks Shouji when he returns the Ling she lost when she was captured.
Episode 3: "Tamashii Choudai!" (Your Souls, Please!)
Kazu is driving and Shouji challenges him to a race with his motorcycle.
The friendly race becomes competitive. Just then a little boy upset at his
sister runs in the way and is almost hit by the two teammates who blame
each other and the girl Kaori does too. At night, the Key Jester Gorma comes
to the boy Masao at night and steals his soul. Shouji and Kazu are called to
the hospital by Kaori who scolds them again. The two are then followed by
something that enters a car and chases them relentlessly. Shouji opens the
car to find a sadistic puppet. No one believes him except for Daigo and Kazu.
Meanwhile, Key Jester is visited by the Gorma Triumvirate at a small arena.
The trio of believers visit Kaori at the hospital and tell them what they have experienced. Daigo had a heartwarming talk with the distressed sister. Another boy's soul is being stolen when Daigo and Kaori find him and are then attacked by the puppets. The two follow the puppets to their hideout where Key Jester places the stolen souls into the puppets giving them life. Daigo battles the Gorma and calls the others. Daigo soon is beaten up by the Gorma Triumvirate and they take Kaori's soul and escape just when the others arrive. Daigo punches Kazu and Shouji reacting to his anger and carries the lifeless Kaori away.
Episode 4: "Oretachi Amai Ze!!" (We're Naive!!)

Master Kaku and Daigo are angry at the others. Daigo visits the brother
and sister a the hospital. Ryou deep in thought, drops a plate at work.
Lin revels in guilt while Shouji and Kazu spot a taunting puppet on a skate-
board. Two puppets threaten people with guns and scare patrons at a carnival.
The Dairanger gather again and want to do something by Master Kaku tells
them calmly to mediate like he had Daigo doing. They all do so and they all
start to levitate. They are then transported in front of a large statue relic of the Daosu Civilization in China. He tells them of when the Gorma took over the city and executed people. The six enter a chamber where the Gorma could not, where the gods of the Dai were. Ryou was surprised they resembled their Mythical Chi Beasts. Kaku explains that the Beasts came to fight in the middle of the war. Kaku shows them what could happen if they lost. Led by Daigo and their own new determination, they went out to fight the marauding dolls. Daigo follows the one with Masao's soul and they go though a magic door. The others couldn't go in. Daigo ends up on the beach where Key Jester is relaxing. The Cotpotros on skates fight the four while Daigo fought the monster. Ryou called his dragon and found where they were. The five fight the Cotpotros and Key Jester with their own individual weapons they transformed from their Dai Rods. Daigo does his Kiki kakure attack and Key Jester enters a dimension bombarded with planes. Daigo challenges the monster to open a door he gives him, when he does find the key to open it, he is flown out of the dimension with an explosive attack. The five do their Chi-Power Bomber and the souls return to the children. Masao and Kaori have a happy reunion. And our heroes marched on with more determination than ever.
Episode 5: "Aa Tama Kitaa" (The Jewels Arrive)
Lin comes out of school and is given a golden hair clip as a gift by a
school mate whose name Lin can barely recall. Ryou comes to pick her
up and they hear a scream. It is from her new friend who is attacked by
the Lipstick Songstress who paints the girl's lips and she is taken away.
Ryou and Lin fight Cotpotros that imitate a man's choir. The other rangers
come in, Lin slices the monster's face and she is very upset. She grows
huge and Ryou fights her with Ryuuseioh. The monster calls five hypnotized
girls including Lin's friend to sing and deafen the rangers. The Gorma
Triumvirate come to charge the monster with their energy. Master Kaku
meanwhile is mediating and controlling the dragon with his energy but
it overloads. The rangers fall out of the fallen Ryuuseioh and the monster
retreats. The five try to call for the dragon but he flies away. They come
to find Kaku unconscious, he gets up and tells them he tried but he can't
control Ryuuseioh anymore and Lin feels more guilt about not being able
to help her friend. The men tell Lin to stay, Lin tells them it is her
fight but they tell her they must do this. Lin uses her ki to smash rocks and
Daigo stops her and tells her killing things isn't going to help anything.
Lin gets a vision and sees the Star Houhou in a desert and then returns to
reality. Gara is upset at the monster's behavior and wants her to attack
again but she doesn't want to attack nobody else but Lin. Lin's vision
first amused Kaku but then he took it serious when he gets more details.
He tells her there used to be beasts for them all but he only had Ryuu-
seioh and if they had the Lailai Jewels, they could control them but Lin
wants to know why she is the one getting the visions. Unfortunately, the
boys are in agony over the Songstress' singing. Lin comes in and the
monster blocks her and challenges her to fight. Houhouranger is about to
fight her but gets another vision and falls. She shimmers in golden light
while the Triumvirate watch in amazement and sudden suspicion. The
Songstress is about to strike her but Lin disappears. Only Kaku knows
the truth. The Gorma leave. Lin is in a desert in China.
Episode 6: "Kaze Yo Butchigire" (Wind, Tear Them Apart!)

Lin gets no answer from her Aura Changer in the desert she has found herself in. Lin is assaulted by the Lipstick Songstress and Cotpotros and looses her Aurachanger. The five hypnotized girls, including Lin's friend, are called and deafen Lin with their singing. The boys search for Lin to no end and encounter Cotpotros. Lin jumps and leaps out of their way, while the boys find her changer. Lin finds herself with the statue Kaku showed to them in a vision in Episode 4. She goes inside the cave, sees the illustrations she saw before. She then finds Ryuuseioh there and asks him for the jewels, she sees them but the cave starts quaking because the Lipstick Songstress is huge and causing a commotion. Lin and Ryuuseioh then confront her, she damages the poor dragon. The others come in and Ryuuseioh transforms into warrior mode to fight the monster. The five girls sing again, weakening the four male Dairanger during battle with Cotpotros. Lin runs to the cave and tries to move the boulders from the cave in to get in, the wind blows and Lin channels what the world is giving her and she blows the girls away, opening the cave and the Lailai Jewels come to the five Dairanger. Ryuuseioh is energized and the four call their respective Mythical Chi Beasts. Pegasus lifts rocks at the monster, Lion creates an illusion of Shaddam attacking her, Kirin throws fireballs, and Phoenix does her Big Whirlwind attack. They then form the Heavenly Chi Palace and perform Heavenly Great Windmill attack to finish her. The five hypnotized girls return to normal. Master Kaku tells Lin that she did well as they reflect on a bridge.
Episode 7: "Uragirimonoo!" (Traitor!)
The Triumvirate recieve a visit from the Great Priest Riju, who is brought in
a a palanquin and he says he'll defeat the Dairanger, much to Shaddam's dislike.
He then reminds them that they are failing and beings in Chou Ryou to take
care of Master Kaku. Zaidosu angrily shoots at him but his attack is deflected.
The priest then takes care of Zaidosu. Shaddam stops him from attacking further.
Riju simply mocks him as Zaidosu glares at the black clad warrior. Ryou and
his sister Youko then go to the cemetery to pray for their father. Youko was
a baby when he died and Ryou can't recall his face. Lin and Shouji witness a
little boy being pulled high in the air. The two encounter Chou Ryou. He is
formidable and they call for the others. Ryou runs off from his sister without
explanation. Chou Ryou does the ranger's own attacks but better. He makes the
ground crack and the rangers fall in except for Shouji who barely survives and
given a message to give to Kaku. Ryou arrives too late and when Kaku finds out,
he explains to them that the leader of the original Dairanger defected to the
Gorma and led his four teammates into a trap to their deaths. Kaku leads Ryou
to a closet and traps him there and has Shouji as guard unwillingly as he goes
to confront the traitor. Ryou tricks Shouji to escape by making him believe he
already left. The three captives are gagged to posts near a quarry as Kaku
meets Chou Ryou. Ryou arrives and the two rivals combat each other in black
blurs, Chi energy blasts and levitating rocks. Ryou tries to untie his pals
but encounter Cotpotros. Choux Ryou uses Kaku's distraction to his advantage
and gives him a deadly blow. Ryuranger fights Chou Ryou but is quickly put
back in civilian form and almost struck by the knight. Kaku then reveals
that the boy is his son. Ryou can't phantom this. Chou Ryou keeps the sword
to the boy's face as he is startled.
Episode 8: "Oyajii!!" (Father!!)

Kaku tells CHou ryou that he knows it is true that the boy he has the sword
to is his son. The knight then leaves. Back at their base, Ryou calls Kaku
a liar and tells him that his father died. Ryou still didn't believe it when
Kaku explained his father asked him to look after him and his sister. Ryou
runs off and finds a picture of him, his mother and baby daughter. Chouryou
calls him his son but Ryou is still not satisfied with any explanation.
Ryou demands to know why he left his family to the Gorma and his father gave
him no explanation and left. The photo flew into the air and into the water.
Chouryou is punished by his master while Gara snickers and tell him they have
a plan already. Riju assures them it isn't over and he becomes High Priest Saw.
The four are distressed about having to fight Ryou's father but he reassures
them that his father died when he was five and laughs away. Buildings explode
and the Dairanger are called and transported to battlefield where they confront
High priest Saw. The Dairanger transform and try their finisher to no resolve.
Saw takes his human form and tortures Ryou as Chouryou and the wounded
others watch. Ryou remembers what Kaku and his father said and pleads for
his help. Chouryou can't bare it anymore and attacks his master. Riju and he
battle it out. Chouryou manages to blow Riju away but is dying, Ryou comes
to him, remembers his father's face and sees it when he takes Chou Ryou's
mask off. Chou Ryou apologizes and hopes his family forgives him. The
spirits of Chou Ryou's dead teammates come and nod that they forgive him.
He asks the five to pull out their Lailai Jewels and tell them they will pass on
power from them. With saying he loves him, he disappears with the other spirits.
Saw grows big and the Dairangers form Dairen'oh with their new given power
to defeat him. Ryou and the others stare out to the ocean in the sunset as
Master Kaku watches them.
Episode 9: "Unuboreru Naa" (Don't be Vain)
A Mirror flies to the Earth and all the pets in Daigo's pet store are distrubed.
Daigo finds a peacock feather. Unsuspecting females gaze at their reflections
and ingested by the Mirror Make-Up Artist Gorma. Daigo reports the others
about the strange peacock energy and Master Kaku tells them about Kujaku,
a follower of the Peacock Buddha. Daigo duels the Mirror Gorma and he
runs off, cutting people's faces. Daigo mediates and calls forth Kujaku's energy
to find the Gorma. Daigo fights the Cotpotros and the monster once again
and breaks the mirror with his Dai Rod with Fork. He grows big and the
Dairanger call their Mythical Chi Beasts. Dairen'oh kills it and Kujaku
and the women are freed. The Dairanger meet Kujaku, who has her vendetta
against Gara. Daigo is enthralled by her.
Episode 10: "Aa Fukushuu No Megami" (Ah, Vengeful Goodness)

Daigo shows Kujaku the beautiful world she had missed in the past six thousand
years. The Dairanger notice Daigo's infatuation with her. She tells him how
she came to be trapped in the mirror. Gara, was in the gorma, deeply wounded,
Kujaku went to get water to heal her old friend's wounds and was trapped in
the Mirror Makeup Artist. Gara appears in present time and Kujaku attacks her,
Daigo tries to get in the way but she hurts him. Meanwhile, the Cherry Blossom
trees are in full bloom and everyone is enjoying them. But when the flowers
touch the people, they all start fighting. Kujaku goes to a museum and sees a
exhibit about the Peacock Buddha. The Dairanger try to calm down the population
effected by the flowers. Kujaku throws her real peacock feathers on the people.
Daigo is hit by one, blocking the civilians. Daigo is fine and is warned by
Kaku about her. Kujaku and Gara face again and duel. They both hit each other
with powerful attacks and are fly away. The Viscount Cherry Blossom is attacked
by the Dairanger and he takes Daigo's DaiRod. But with passive resistance
techniques, he is able to get it back and kill the monster. Daigo worried about
Kujaku but it won't be the last he hears of her.
Episode 11: "Jishaku De Gausu!" (A Magnet Gauss!)
Shouji jogs and sees a girl he likes and tells her he is going to be a great
boxer which amazes her. Meanwhile, Father Magnet splits happy relationships
apart by making them magnetically incompatible. Shouji tries to get Lin to
help him get the girl and Father Magnet fails at targeting them. He does get
Shouji when he is with his girl and she is knocked unconscious. The Gorma
is having fun in a park, Gara comes in and when Shouji and Lin do, he becomes
his monster form. He knocks SHouji through a park map and out of his suit.
The others wake Shouji out of his stupor and he is angry at the monster.
Kaku tells him to thread carefully. Shouji goes back to his crush and finds
her empty locker room with a cute boxer keychain. She is being cashed by a
car under the monster's control, Shouji leaps hi motorcycle over it and lures
the car away from her and to him, who is still targeted with magnet control.
Shouji leads the car into a warehouse to its fiery end. He comes in and the
other Dairangers follow and are at the mercy of the monster. Kaku sends
Shouji a message and they come up with a plan to use a new flying attack.
The magnet control comes off from Shouji and Father Magnet becomes giant.
He throws a magnet on Dairen'oh, they call their energies to take it off and
destroy him. Shouji then finds his crush again and is brought down gently but
is still in considerable shock. His friends come to cheer him up and he quickly
gets over it. He jogs away, pauses and looks at a happy couple. He charges on.
Episode 12: "Toufu De Yottaa" (Drunk on Tofu)
Kazu eats lunch with a little girl and then sees drunk men marching eating Tofu.
The little girl is concerned that one of the men is his father. Kazu goes after
the strange man that was leading them and knows he is a Gorma. They both
know the Drunken Fist technique and Immortal Tofu beats him and disappears.
Kazu visits the little girl, her father and mother and he tells them that he was
followed by men on bikes and develop the state he was in. The little girl quickly
goes after them and is startled to see they are Cotpotros. Kazu saves her from
them and Daigo and Shouji come as well. Immortal Tofu makes the two drunk
from a horn. Master Kaku, Ryou and Lin see the state they are in at the base and
Kazu runs off to find the monster. He finds him and also finds that the little girl
has been kidnapped. He challenges Kazu to a drinking contest. Meanwhile,
Ryou dips his two teammates in cold water to sober them. Immortal Tofu
drinks up Sake first. Kazu is still acting cool. Kazu is given a big bowl of Sake to
drink up. Kazu falls with a smile on his face. The monster is about to kill Kazu
when Kazu wakes up and throws him off. The Cotportos start to fight each
other and him. They then reveal that Daigo, Shouji and Kazu were disguised
as Cotpotros. the girl is dropped and the big tofu is dropped but luckily rescued
by the other Dairangers. Kazu reveals what he drank was really water. Tofu
slices Kazu like someone who slice tofu. Kazu quickly attacks him with a
bottle and rope, which the monster drinks and becomes highly drunk. Kazu
does a dizzying attack and then fights him with lighting fists. Immortal
Tofu grows big and steals Dairen'oh's sword but they call their attack and
the sword does it to the monster. After defeating the monster, the little girl,
her father and other Dairanger happily serve customers Tofu.
Episode 13: "Kakkabuki Kozou" (The Kabuki Priestling)
At a bank, a guard is taken possession of and fights others to leave with
the money. Shouji and Ryou find this guy throwing the money at everyone in
the streets. Ryou is the only one distrubed by this. The bank men take the
money from the greedy Shouji. The robber becomes a Gorma and beats the
two up. Suited up as Dairanger, they encounter a flying disk. It comes from
Grandmaster Yufang, he taunts them with the Dairinkens. They chase after
him but can't find him. With Ryou's description, Lin races to her apartment.
The bewildered boys find out the old man is Lin's uncle. Yufang seemingly
cleaned the apartment but then a mountain of junk come out of a closet.
Master Kaku comes and salutes his sensei, who taught him in the ways of
the Dai and created the Aura Changers. The boys are in great disbelief.
The boys leave in wonder while Yufang makes food, even cutting onions
with a Dairinken. Lin digs for more information about her uncle's fiancee.
The Kabuki Priestling makes a show which the Triumvirate witness and
summon meek smiles. They send him off on his mission. He invades a
construction worker and tries to drill into a bank. He then possesses
a guard that was trying to stop him. He then takes the body of a vendor
and the Dairangers try to stop him. A bank is being apprehended and
our heroes chase the culprit. They transform to fight him but when he
cowers in fear, Yufang comes to the rescue. The Dairanger don't want
him to be harmed but the possessed man ends up dead when he falls off
the building. Yufang seems unphased by this and runs off to get the
monster. The Dairanger stay and the police arrive.
Episode 14: "Iyoo Kekkon Jaa" (Well, A Wedding)

The Dairanger are shocked when the police find a bullet wound on the
man that fell from the building. They sigh in relief that it wasn't Yufang's
fault. When they gather at the hideout, he laughs at his cleverness.
He reveals to them a picture of his young opera singer fiancee but
Lin are upset that she is so young. Kabuki Priestling pleads for
forgiveness but is blasted at by Zaidosu and is given another chance.
He spits out Yufang's fiancee Shoukyou, who has Byakkoshinken with her.
Lin tries out the Dairinken much to her uncle's glee and is given a ransom
letter which drives him more. He goes to the monster's hideout and when
he gets to Shou-chan's cage, he encounters fire and a possessed boxer.
Yufang punches the monster out of the boxer and then he becomes a martial
artist and kendo fighter. Kabuki Priestling then possessed a robot which
Yufang easily brings down. The tables turn and Yufang is at his mercy
until the monster is attacked by a Dairinken. The Gorma Triumvirate
are in their car when Shaddam realizes Shoukyou has the Byakkoshinken.
Lin frees Shoukyou and the two fiancees have a loving reunion. The five
transform and the robot is taken down by Lin. The Triumvirate then
corner the two lovers for the tiger sword. The Dairanger do their Chi
Power Bomber on the trio and they become their metal faced forms and
throw it back at our heroes. Yufang tells the Dairangers to call their
Dairinkens and used them against the trio and Kabuki Priestling. The
monster's face is covered by the weapons. When he used the enlarging
bomb, the explosion causes the trio to retreat. The Dairanger defeat
the monster with Dairen'oh and Yufang and his bride encase Byakkoshinken
in stone. She demonstrates that no one can remove the sword other than
its true owner. Lin's uncle and bride marry and drive away happily.
One question is pressed: Who is the true owner of the sword?
Episode 15: "San Baka Sakkaa" (The Three Idiot's Soccer)
[This is the first episode that incorporates clips from the episode in the opening.]
An old lady finds a strange humanoid phone in the city and tries using
it and it is a Gorma. Then a graveyard Gorma gets close to her which
causes her to run off. General Kamikaze rolls in on his motorcycle.
Youko is with Ryou at work and the Three Gorma spy on them. Ryou's
little sister is by herself and then is chased by a soccer ball. The three
take the fainted Youko much to Ryou's displeasure and challenge him
to a football match. Shouji is upset at Ryou but Ryou runs off to face
the Gorma alone. Zaidosu prepares the three for their futbol match and
Ryou appears. A fake Ryuranger appears and General Kamikaze kicks
a ball at a goal, exploding the figure. In a giant balloon, Youko is held
captive. Ryou plays futbol alone against the Cotpotros and the three
idiots but there are many tricks in the way. And indeed what the General
demonstrated with the goal, occurs to Ryou, blowing him down. Ryou
struggles to get up. The trio kick another ball in the goal, when
Ryou awaits electricity, it doesn't shock him. The Dairanger had
created an illusion of the goal in front of the real one. The four
come to Ryou aid and instead of punching him, Shouji tells him he
shouldn't have been such a fool. The five transform and combat the
Gorma, Kirinranger acting as goalie. Ryou uses all his energy to kick
a goal for his team, shocking a Cotpotro and releasing his sister.
The three idiots grow giant and are formidable against Ryuuseioh
and the three are defeated but don't explode. The Dairanger and
Youko then celebrate by eating Ryou's cooking. The three idiots
are deeply wounded and bandaged and walk into the sunset.
Episode 16: "Gorogoro Kodomo Ishi" (Rumbling Child Stones)
[A recap of Episodes 9 and 10 are shown.] Daigo is yet again at the Peacock Buddha in a museum and pleading
for Kujaku's return. A little girl in Daigo's pet shop raises his
spirits. A creepy puppet turns children at a play ground into stone
statues. The Dairanger go there, gathering Gorma readings and they
spilt up. The little girl encounters Kujaku who hypnotizes her. The
girl plays in a playground and Haniwa Ventriloquist's puppet is unable
to turn her. So Gara comes in and snaps her fingers, making the girl
faint. She dreams of vampire children. Kujaku then attacks the two.
Daigo then feels Kujaku's energy. Daigo comes in and fights the Gorma
too and is at his mercy, he controlled Daigo like a puppet. The
monster fell to pieces due to Shishiranger's Dairinken attack. Gara
got away with the little girl and the monster reassembled. Daigo
pleaded with Kujaku to snap out of the vendetta. Gara threatened
the little girl and swore to get Kujaku. The girl was placed on a
disk as bait for Kujaku and when she came, she was held captive with
chains and at the mercy of Gara's attacks. Kujaku then disappeared
with the girl where she tended to her wounds on a small boat. Daigo's
words echoed through Kujaku's mind, when the Gorma neared, she
called for him. He quickly came to their aid, created his mist and left.
Haniwa Ventriloquist ran to another area to find the five heroes.
Daigo and the monster then duel. He was brought to pieces again and
rebuilt once more. Kujaku told Daigo how to defeat it. He attacked
the true culprit--the small one and then the big one fell. So the
true Haniwa Ventriloquist grew and used his controlling ropes on
Dairen'oh but ultimately failed. All the stone statues returned to
be children their parents were concerned about. Daigo reunited
with the little girl and he asked where Kujaku went but she didn't
know she was at the museum and ailing from wounds. Daigo,
once again stared to the water and clutched his peacock feather.
Episode 17: "Demashita Nyuu Hiiroo" (He's here, A New Warrior)
In a heavy thunderstorm, the Byakkoshinken stayed in the stone that
Lin's uncle put it in. Master Kaku mediates and hears Yufang's words
he transmits to him through astral projection about Kibaranger. Kaku
opens his eyes in a sweat. The sword glows red and then the bright
light illumates the room of a young boy named Kou. The voice calls
out to the boy. The enxt day, Kou is joyfully skating and can make
great leaps. He steals a couple's drink and then spots the woman of
his dreams... Lin. He presents himself and then grabs her left breast.
She is understandably upset, he steals her purse and runs off. He takes
her keys. Shouji who was jogging, tries to stop Kou to no avail. At
the temple, Shouji gets Lin her purse back and Kou hides from them.
Where Shouji thinks he has the boy, it is the face and extended neck
of Lady Necklace. He is quickly put under the mercy of the three ladies
and he cowards away. Lin and Shouji transform and fit the Gorma.
They enter a red dimension where Kou is transported to as well and
he witnesses the battle. Akomaru and his guardian come in on a
chart brought by a Cotpotro. Akomaru shots an arrow in the air and
brings everyone back to reality. The ladies show their human forms,
mention Kibaranger and retreat. Akomaru and Kou's eyes meet, unkn-
owing of their relation. Byakkoshinken continues to call to Kou.
Master Kaku explain to the five that the true owner that pulls the
sword out of the stone becomes the Kibaranger. Meanwhile, the
Triumvirate are with Akomaru's four guardians, they want the sword.
General Tenpou leaves and Akomaru is about to leave but his
dad Shaddam wants to know what he is up to. Kou finds a bag behind
a photo of the five in Lin's dwelling. Lin is more angry to find
Kou has rummaged through her whole apartment. She pulls him by
the ear and he tricks her, locking her out. She uses her chi power
to open the lock and find he escaped through the window. Kou
heads to the sword with Lin following him. Lin then fight the Three
Ladies who also found the sword's location. The others arrive but
lightening strikes and the sky is dark again. Kou pulls the sword
out. Byakkoshinken presents himself and tells Kou that he is the
Kibaranger. The contents of the bag he took from Lin's apartment
was the Kiba Changer. He transforms into the Kibaranger. The
darkness clears and Kou marvels at his new abilities. The sword
talks for him and he presents himself to Akomaru and the Three
Ladies. Akomaru tells them to retreat.
Episode 18: "(Himitsu) No Byakko-chan" [The (Secret) Byakko-Chan]
[Continued from Episode 17]
As Kibaranger, Kou rides his skateboard over a truck and falls. He blows
girl's skirts up with his new power, he throws a baseball with great force
with a flick. But Byakkoshinken calls his own power to throw the ball back
to the misbehaving boy. He scolds Kou. 'Byakko-chan' tells him of the seri-
ousness of the Gorma but Kou simply gags the talking sword with a wrist
band. Lin complains about the boy to her teammates and they talk about
the appearance of Kibaranger and wonder who he is. Lin is shocked to
find she must now take care of Kou. A ladder is put to the ceiling to a
secret room for Kou to sleep in. Akomaru assures his father he will get
Kibaranger. Kou tells the Three Ladies that the one is Kibaranger
must have a tiger burned to his arm. They go off. Shaddam is surprised
he knows this sort of information. Lin and Kou make up. Kou receives
a call from his 'mother' but it is Shouji. Lin is happy at this trick, Ryou
isn't that sure. The male Dairangers find that the monster trio are
searching all adolescent boy's arms. The ladies retreat. Lin is called and
she encounters a crying and upset Kou. Kou runs away and bumps into
Lady Earring who discover his tiger burn. Kou remembers when he was
younger and his mother burned the tiger mark to his arm. She screamed
his name and hugged him in regret. Lin comes to protect Kou and he
runs off. The others come, transform and fight the lady monsters.
Kou encounters Akomaru and Byakko-chan tells him to help as Kiba
Ranger. Kou thinks about it. The Dairanger meanwhile, are in dire
need of help. Kou watches as Lin is being beaten. Kou gathers his
confidence and transforms and saves her. Kibaranger fights Lady
Earring and Byakkoshinken fights for him. He beats her with a rock
star illusion to deafens the big earred monster. The ailing lady
come to Akomaru and before she can tell him who he is, she dies.
Akomaru is upset, he figures out it was Kou. Lin makes up with
Kou once again and they make a pact. Kou is happy and swipes Lin
at her skirt, they playfully chase each other. Lin forgives the orphan.
Episode 19: "Dokidoki Bishoujo"" (The Heart-throbbing Pretty Girl)

Akomaru is carried by a Cotpotro in a foggy night and he is confronted
by his father, who demands to know how he got his information about the
Kibaranger. Shaddam watches as his son disappears into the night. The
next morning, Lin has trouble trying to wake Kou up to find her swipes
at her skirt once again. Kou sneaks into class already in session to see
a new girl student, who he instantly likes. A chair is pulled from under
him and everyone laughs. Shouji and Kazu wait for Kou after school in
Kazu's car only to his bookbag slapped on them as he skateboards
away. He encounters Akomaru once again and is cornered by two of the
remaining Lady monsters. Kazu and Shouji come to the rescue. Kou
plants Byakkoshinken in the ground and runs off only to be cornered
by Akomaru and Lady Ring. Byakko's voice distracts them as he runs
off and becomes Kibaranger. Kou runs off and so does the Gorma,
having the Dairanger wonder why and where Kou is. Kou goes to
meet the girl he had a crush on and they have fun at some rides at a
park. Kou thinks about his mother. The girl presents Kou to her
mother but she slaps her hand. Ryou is surprised to hear this, so is the
others as Kou told them all. Shouji and Kou mope at a playground.
The next day Kou spies on the girl being mistreated by her mother
while Shouji watches him. When the girl's mother pinches her,
Kou remembers his mother. They talk about this near a lake as
Shouji watches on. The girl is captured by Lady Necklace and a ring
encases Shouji by Lady Ring. Kou runs after Lady Necklace to find
the little girl's mother playing tennis and he pleads to her to do some-
thing but she refuses. The Dairanger fight the two monsters. Shouji
defeats Lady Ring so she retreats. Kou runs near the bay and is angry,
Akomaru revels in it. The Dairanger run to find the boy.
Episode 20: "Hatsukoukai Gooma Kyuu"
(First Public Opening Of The Gorma Palace)

The Dairanger try to cheer a mopey Kou up and Shouji ties to reason with
him but Kou runs off again. The Gorma Palace rises from the ground and
the Gorma make lots of noise. The Triumvirate, Gorma Shitennou,
Akomaru, and General Tenpou are there. Shaddam is about to stab
Tenpou when an orb bangs on a gong revealing a man with a mask
giving Shaddam and Tenpou masks. They wear these to see the
Emperor, the fifteenth. He throws a pinwheel at Tenpou's chest and
Tenpou finds it amusing. Shaddam presents to the Emperor that there
is another beast other than the ones Dairanger posses. The Emperor
comes closer to Shaddam and gives Shaddam the pinwheel he threw on
Tenpou. Master Kaku refers to Kou as Kibaranger. Kaku makes
pleasantries with Byakkoshinken and he refers to the Won Tiger which
surprises him. Shaddam celebrates with his comrades but is slashed
on the face by his son. Kou receives a letter and goes to a warehouse
and rescues the dream girl. They run off only to find her mother who
abandons her. This angers Kou to the point that his tiger lights up.
Energy engulfs Kou. He then remembers Shouji's words and imagines
his mother floating away. He then remembers a happy memory with
his mother and lights up once again. The Dairanger have apprehended
the girl's mother, she gets away from their grasp to only reveal she
was Lady Necklace all along. The Dairanger transform and fight her.
Kou takes the girl to safety to only find out she was Akomaru in disguise.
It was all a ruse for Kou to feel hate. Kou punches Akomaru and beats
him up. Lady Ring comes to Akomaru's aid. Kou transforms in front of
her and uses his own voice. Akomaru attacks Kibaranger and Shaddam
shoots at them. Lady Ring and Akomaru retreat as Shaddam attacks
Kou. He creates an illusion of the sound of policemen shooting at him.
Shaddam retreats and the Dairanger destroy Lady Necklace. Afterwards,
the six look into the ocean with deep in thought. Meanwhile, something
rises out of cracks in the ground.
Episode 21: "Kidenjuu-sama Gotanjou" (Birth of a Mythical Chi Beast)

Rocks rumble and move around. Master Kaku mediates at a cliff. The five
Mythical Chi Beasts orbs bounce off each other in the stars and then on
Earth creating a large fire in front of Kaku. Kou dreams about when he
went to meet with his mother at the beach and then when she branded him.
Lin offers an outing for the next day. Kou imagines Lin as his mother.
That same night, Akomaru and Lady Ring watch over the city. Lady Ring
wants revenge for her sisters' deaths. The Gorma Triumvirate see Won
Tiger through a crystal ball and Shaddam wants its power. Kou is
surprised the other Dairanger are going with him and Lin on their outing
and runs off crying. He sits at a theater only to encounter Akomaru who
sicks Lady Ring on him. The Dairanger come to the rescue and fight the
lone monster. Kibaranger joins in and Lady Ring makes copies of her
fallen sisters. The Triumvirate torture Ryuranger and make him disappear.
The Gorma retreat and the others go to Master Kaku who tells them about
a sixth Mythical Chi Beast. Akomaru and Shaddam bicker, the father
throwing his son and breaking a mirror. Akomaru still runs out laugh-
ing wickedly. Lin and Kou reunite and hear a creepy phonecall which
comes from Akomaru. Kou runs to where the Gorma have gathered
Ryou tied flat on his back on a circle in front of the burning sun. Kou
and Lin fight the Cotpotro, Kou and the others that have arrived
transform. Kibaranger fights against Zaidosu. Lin and Daigo against
Gara and Kazu and Shouji against Shaddam. The Earth then shakes.
Kaku has gathered enough energy to try to control Won Tiger.
Episode 22: "Tora No Ko Dai Hijutsu!!"
(The Great Secret Art of the Tiger Cub!!)

Ryou is still tied up, the Gorma have the Dairangers on the ropes.
Zaidosu goes after Kibaranger again but Akomaru shoots at him to stop
him telling him that Kibaranger is his. Kibaranger knocks Zaidosu down
and they free Ryou who then transforms. Just then, the Earth shakes more.
They call their Mythical Chi Beasts, Byakkoshinken pulls Kou into the
air and they fly. Meanwhile at the Gorma Palace, Akomaru calls for
the Emperor and doesn't wear the mask. The Emperor throws his game
pieces at the boy for him to put his mask on. At a lake, a chubby man
by the name of Kou puts turtles in a small pond and he sees a bright
light crash. He goes to the crash sight where Master Kaku and the
five adult Dairanger are. They combine their Lailai Jewels and become
Dairangers. Kameo is shocked and even more when Kou comes in
with his talking tiger sword. Kameo runs off. The sky becomes dark
as the Dairangers and Kaku mediate and fog raise up. Their jewels
float up and rocks tumble around them and they are unmoving.
At an island, Akomaru goes to his captive and informant--Kou's mother!
She thinks back to when she was happy with Kou and then when she
branded him. Lighting strikes and fire burns, the Dairanger hold
their meditative states and Won Tiger awakes. It tries to stand up
fails. It stands up and races around, falls on its back and gets up.
Byakko-chan tells Kou to change and he gets his Lailai Jewel. He
claims the Won Tiger in front of the Dairanger. Kaku knows it is
Kou. Kou and Byakko form Won Tiger's Warrior form and fights
Lady Ring. She brings her phantom sisters and they have them
cornered. Kou falls out of the tiger into the grass to find Akomaru
once again. Much to Kou's shock, Akomaru reveals he has
his mother. Kou runs to his mother and Akomaru throws him to
the ground. Kou hits Akomaru and tries to get away with his
mother but Akomaru hits her with power and has her fly away.
Won Tiger continues the fight alone and Ryuuseioh jumps on it.
Boulders toll down and one falls on Akomaru. Kou tries to pry
it off but Akomaru has accepted his death. Kou shakes his dead
foe and sheds a tear. Byakkoshinken tells him to become Kibaranger
to help the Dairanger. He enters Won Tiger once again and with
the Heavenly Chi Palace, Kibadaioh is formed. They destroy the
three sisters together. Ryuuseioh shakes the new combination's
hand. Kou stands at a pier and thinks of his mother.
Episode 23: "Jun Ai Masshigura" (True Love at Full Speed)

Daigo holds his peacock feather and thinks of Kujaku. Elsewhere,
Kujaku sees that one of her head dress feathers has become brown.
Gara thinks of Kujaku as well. A gorma, Heatwave Hood rides a
horse to where families are having picnics and scorches their good
time and nature. The Dairanger jump in and fight him. Gara comes
in and Shouji attacks her. She falls to the ground when Kujaku
attacks the Dairanger. Shouji is upset at her. Daigo tries to pull
him back. Heatwave Good makes the ground shake and fire
come out of the ground. Back the base, Daigo apologizes and tries
to have everyone understand why he defends Kujaku. Everyone,
but Kaku walk away. Kaku gives Daigo advice. Gara and Kujaku
face off. Gara shows Kujaku the scar she had from childhood
innocent trying to save Kujaku. Heatwave Hood comes in and
makes the ground shake again. Gara notices the brown peacock
feather as well, noticing the Earth's pollution is taking effect
on her old friend. Daigo comes in to defend her and Heatwave
sucks them into his oven. In what seems like the inside of a
volcano, Kujaku tells Daigo she is dying due to the pollution.
Daigo tells her he will be there for her and he punches his way
out. Meanwhile, the others wonder where Daigo is, Kaku tells
them once he feels it. Heatwave laughs about the rumble in his
gut. Gara thought of finishing Heatwave so she could get rid
of Kujaku too. The Dairanger fight Heatwave an then he shows
them that Daigo and Kujaku are in him. Daigo continues punching
his way out. Heatwave starts to feel it and the injured Dairanger
know Daigo is fighting his way out. Kujaku comes to Daigo's
aid and starts challenging he energy into his fists. With the help,
they almost make it out but Gara slices his head, causing him
to blow up and the two captives to get out. Daigo's hands are
bleeding. Heatwave grows big and the Dairanger call their
beasts. Dairen'oh uses mist and illusion attacks and kills the
monster. The Dairanger reunite with Kujaku, she bids him a
sad goodbye but his friends are more positive.
Episode 24: "San Baka Chou Yakyuu!"
(The Three Idiots' Super Baseball!)
Shouji is on his motorcycle with Lin and they bump into Kameo, who is running off from something. The two investigate and its the Three Gorma Idiots looking super sad. They beg for forgiveness. They have been kicked out of the Gorma. Shouji makes a pact with General Kamikaze as Miss Telephone cries. Lin is concerned. Phones ring all over the city and they are prank calls. The Dairanger catch wind of this and get a message from the trio for a baseball match. Shouji regrets what he did. The Gorma prepare for their game and the five march in determined. The trio pass them helmets with bombs attached to them. They transform and then put them on. The Gorma have the helmets too. The Gorma get Kameo to be the Dairanger's catcher. Tenmaranger pitches the ball to President Gravestone and Ryou gets the ball and tosses it to Lin. Gravestone throws fire on her and she falls. Kazu gets the ball and the Gorma would be 'out' if he wasn't tossed. Miss Telephone ends up in first base and Gravestone on second base. General Kamikaze hits a homerun that hits most of the Dairanger before it goes out of the park. Kamikaze mounts his motorbike and all of the idiots make to home base gaining 4 base. The Dairanger take a break and all attention is on Shouji. Kazu is now at bat and Daigo and Lin are on bases. Kamikaze pitches his ball and Kirinranger scans it and hits it but the ball has stuck to his bat. He throws it to a Cotpotro and Miss Telephone sprays the ball with water from her phone. Shishiranger makes copies of himself and dizzies her. Dairanger only get one point. Then neither team gets a homerun. Lin is at bat and she changes into a sexy outfit to distract the Gorma. Kamikaze ends up hitting her on the leg, Kameo calls it a ball and Lin can run free. Kazu is then hit on the leg and another ball is called. Ryou is then up, he calls lightening and knocks it out of the park but then gets hit by a bomb ball. Shouji runs to Ryou and then Kibaranger jumps in to take Ryou's place. Of course, Byakkoshinken is doing his voice. Kamikaze's pitch is reflected from Kibaranger's bat by Byakkoshinken to second base. Kibaranger moves to the first base and Shouji gets to bat. Strike one and Shouji thinks of the idiot's plea and Lin warning him. Strike two and the other Dairanger tell him to do better. The third ball is hit but hits Ryou. Shouji's helmet falls off and blows up lifting the un- transformed Shouji in the air. Shouji groans injured on the floor. He then grabs his bat and stands up slowly and angrily. He transforms again and Kamikaze does a special power pitch of fire and it is knocked out of the park. The score is now 4 to 5 and the trio's helmets blow up. They then grow huge. Won Tiger and Ryuuseioh play explosive baseball with the trio. Kibadaioh is formed, fire doesn't phase it. They punch Kamikaze on top of the others and the battle is over. Four of the five adult Dairanger play a friendly match of baseball, Shouji is asked to pass their stray ball back but he throws the ball far away cursing the Idiot's name. The three idiots are injured once again and walk away.
Episode 25: "Zorozoro Ura Sentai" (Opposite Team In Great Numbers)
Daigo, Shouji, Lin, and Ryou are at a pool at Hotel Sweat enjoying themselves.
A female photojournalist wants to take pictures of them, she does of the
unsuspecting heroes. She takes pictures of Kazu at a dock, he is blinded by
the flash and shocked to find an exact duplicate. The double punches him in
the stomach and knocks him unconscious. He awakes to be in a prison and the
photographer is with the double. She reveals to be Copy Empress Gorma,
she plans to replace the whole team. The fake Kazu comes in with flowers.
The five sing 'Happy Birthday' to Kaku at the headquarters. He tells them
it isn't his birthday and they all blame Kazu. Kazu studies the weapons and
practices his Drunken Fist technique and the Dairanger are happy he has
improved but Kaku is more weary when he cuts Kaku on the left arm. Copy
Kazu runs off and the male rangers are suspicious. Ryou puts a beetle tracker
on him. Kaku, bandaged, tell them that Kazu wasn't Kazu. The team goes off
and tracks the fake Kazu and encounter Copy EMpress who lets go the photos
she did of them in their bathing suits. She makes them into real copies. The
real ones transform and so do the fakes. Copy Empress makes another batch
of copies of the four Dairangers. Copy Kazu visits the real one with a
knife to find he has disappeared. He opens the cage and is attacked by the
real Kazu. They fight and so do the real Dairanger with two copies of each.
Gara comes along and is pleased with the turn of events. Master Kaku interrupts
the duel between the two Kazus and Copy Kazu tries to stab Kaku but Kaku
finishes off the copy. He becomes a photo again and melts away. Kazu
apologizes and goes to save his friends. Copy Empress mistakes the real one for
the copy and is surprised when he kicks her. She releases five copy Dairanger
against Kirinranger. He is taken down and Copy Empress is about to slash
at him when he stops the sword with his hand. Kazu sends a major blow to
Copy Empress and all the copies are destroyed. The five reunite and finish
her off with their Chi-Power Bomber. She grows huge and makes a copy of
Ryuuseioh to fight against Dairen'oh. They destroy both. The Dairanger happily
enjoy the pool once more. They see the five dreaded photographs and
look at each other. The photos become white and they crumble them up.
Episode 26: "Iya na Iya na Iya na Yatsu" (A Hateful, Hateful, Hateful Man)
Martial Art students practice and a master comes into the room. A janitor drops a mop in the master's way. The Janitor beats up two of his students and shows the master a coin and flips it. The coin drops and the master is dead. The Janitor is really Jin, an assassin. Jin meets with a smoking fellow who gives him money. A knock at the door and the doorman comes to pick up the cups and Jin gives him the money. Both men are surprised by his actions. Ryou gets to work and sent on a mission. Meanwhile, A police officer stops a car and tells them they were speeding and the driver doesn't believe it. The police officer turns out to be Jin and he has punched through the car to the driver's gut. Ryou witnesses this. Two men that were int he car fight Jin. Ryou comes in and Jin is pleased to know who Ryou is. Ryou is upset at Jin's actions. Jin slashes Ryou's face with his coin and they fight. A car runs over Jin and Ryou goes to look and Jin is gone. At the headquarters, Lin tends to Ryou's wounds and the others wonder if he is Gorma. Kaku warns Ryou to stay away, he believes Ryou would be defeated if he challenged such a master. But lnowing more of Jin, angers him. A nurse named Aki reads the newspaper and knows that Jin is the cause of the murders of senseis. Ryou lays down by a pond deep in thought and his friends come to join him. Lin places a charm on Ryou's hand. Shouji wonders if they like each other and they all tease each other. Ryou has his spirits up, they are all happy until Man of Jar
Gorma comes along. They try to fight him but he is hard to break, their attacks bounce off him. The Gorma Triumvirate watch. Jin prays at a memorial and Aki comes, it is of her father. She shows him the newspaper and demands an explanation for his actions. His explanation makes her drop of her purse. She grips his prosthetic hand. He remembers when he and her father battled and he slipped and hung from a cliff by his sensei's hand. His sensei told him to fall but Jin didn't want to because of the jagged rocks. So the man cut off his hand and Jin fell. Back in present time, Jin lets go of his former love's hand and her being there has made her memory of how he lost his hand much clearer. She wants him to stop his vendetta and clutches him with affection. The Dairanger return to the base beaten up. Zaidosu visits a place of death and clutches a purple orb, he places it on a base and chants. It glows red. Meanwhile at another temple, students are flung as Jin goes to murder another master. They face off, Jin tosses his coin and Jin kills the man. Just then, Ryou jumps out of nowhere and kicks him. Ryou doesn't understand how a man that has such skill would waste it on killing people. Meanwhile, the other Dairangers practice kenpo on each other in another area and Man of Jar comes to them. Back at the temple grounds, Jin and Ryou fight. Man of Har sucks the Dairanger's attacks into a jar on top of his head. Out of frustration, Ryou uses his Ki Power against Jin which angers him much more and he punches Ryou endlessly. Man of Jar sucks Lin into his jar and a phoenix appears on the jar. Jin socks Ryou on the face and blood spills out. Jin leaves Ryou unconscious.
Episode 27: "Saishuuken Dadadaa" (It's the Final Punch)

Back at the base, Shouji is upset at the lost of Lin. Ryou is there and is wounded but seems fine. Ryou thinks back to his dual with Jin. Jin goes to a hospital for another master, this one in a wheelchair, and he offers him flowers. Aki sees this and is wary. Jin tries but fails to hurt the man. The man jumps out of his wheelchair like a true master only to be killed there and then. Jin and Aki talk by a bridge. She tries to snap him out of it but they can't help to remember their past. Where Jin and Aki were happy and he gave her necklace with two hearts. Then Aki remembers when he was hurt by her father and she, a high school student at the time, came to heal his wounds. He then remembers how he lost his hand. Jin leaves her much to her dislike. The four male Dairangers practice Kenpo but Ryou is still hurt. Man of Jat attacks once again, taunting them. Kazu, Shouji, and Daigo transform and fight the Gorma. The monster sucks in Shouji, Ryou trying to get his strength back, screams. That night, Zaidosu concentrates his energy into the purple orb. Jin enjoys the night at home with wine and music, he touches a flower with his prosthetic hand. Zaidosu's orb glows with a red skull. Ryou practices at the base with candles. Ryou wanted to take off his a skeletal-like armor but continued, for the sake of his captured friends. Aki sees Jin once again, he encounters Ryou ready to fight him. Meanwhile, Kazu and Daigo fight the monster. Ryou and Jin race by the beach and then Ryou reveals his spring-full armor, he rips off to reveal his scars. They fight and Ryou is just as lightening fast. Aki pleads to Jin, Ryou uses this distraction to tumble Jin down. Ryou then sucker punches Jin into the water. Kazu and Daigo are captured as well and Ryou comes in with a new attack. The four are released, monster becomes big. Jin comes to the beach, defeated and meets Zaidosu who offers him great power but he must first get rid of his weakness. Aki comes for Jin and Zaidosu disappears. Jin struggles to get up, she hugs him and pleads once again. Just when she thinks he has come around, he has killed her. The flowers that represented their love burns in her mind. She falls to the ground and Jin raises up. Zaidosu raises the purple orb and calls lightening to embed Jin. Just as Dairen'oh fights the Man of Jar, Jin becomes a Gorma. The Man of Jar is destroyed. Jin rises up and Zaidosu is happy at his new creation. Jin drops Zaidosu down and tells him he isn't going to follow his master. The Dairanger return to the beach and Ryou finds Jin's coin. Jin's laughter is heard.
Episode 28: "Soutoujou Dagya!!" (General Entrance!!)
Kazu dressed as a vendor comes to help the old lady who helped him. At the Gorma Palace, the Triumvirate meet with their eccentric Emperor. He laughs at his findings when he plays with different color dice. He throws one into Zaidosu's mouth. He has the Gorma Shitennou rise up. The Emperor presents them all, North, South, West and East. Meanwhile, Kameo hums to himself at his house full of children book illustrations and turtles. He runs to where the food vendor is and is surprised to find Kazu. Kazu wants him to keep it a secret. He tells him of when he was younger and came to the city alone and was helped by the old lady. Kameo gets some bowls and clean them with water. Ina fountain, he finds a beautiful clear crystal. They then attacked by the Triumvirate and Cotpotros. Kameo gets the cart and runs off, Shaddam tells him to get Zaidosu. The four Gorma generals march in the city and the other Dairanger don't even notice them. Kou those notice Akomaru at the end of the street. Kou chases after Akomaru and so do the others. Daigo looks in the park and he finds Kujaku. Shouji finds the Three Gorma Idiots and chases after them. Jin then attacks Ryou, in his new Demon Boxer form. Zaidosu gets to Kameo but the crystal he collected lets go energy that blasts the Gorma away. Kazu comes and they run off. Kameo tells Kazu the crystal has great power, when he shows Kazu his turtles, he finds out his lost one. Ryou finds himself in a strange mist dimension with dead trees. Daigo, Shouji, Lin, and Kaku appear as well. Kujaku, Akomaru, the Three Idiots, and Jin approach them and egg them on. The Dairanger go to get them but they are illusions. The Gorma Shitennou presents themselves. The adult Dairanger transform, Kou hides behind a rock and Byakkoshinken tells him that if Kibaranger appears, everyone will deduce that his identity. The Gorma attack Kazu and Kameo again and look for the crystal. Meanwhile, the Dairanger have trouble fighting the four Gorma generals. Ryou notices a glowing jewel on one of them and blasts it. The five Dairanger and Kou reunite and fight the Triumvirate call for the Gorma Shitennou and they combine to become the Gattai Shitennou. The Dairanger call their beasts. Byakkoshinken tells Kou it is time to transform into Kibaranger and he calls the Won Tiger. They form Kibadaioh and with Ryuuseioh, they fight the merged Gorma. It is destroyed, seemingly. Kameo and Kazu run with their cart. Dust gathers and a small clay model comes out and becomes the Gorma Shitennou once again. Kameo's crystal glows and engulfs him and he disappears. In reality, he turned into a turtle.

Lin races after Kou, the jogging Shouji sees them and laughs. Kou thinks he sees his mom and runs o her, dropping his skateboard. He remembered how Akomaru made her fly away. He runs to her but she is gone. He tells Lin and Shouji and they hear the voice as well. Just then, a boy is plucked in the air by a fishing rod. The fast-talking Vagabond comes along, Lin and Shouji transform and tell Kou to hide, they fight Cotpotros. Kibaranger comes in and kicks the Gorma down. The other Dairanger run in with their bikes. The Gorma takes his monster form and throws a apple bomb challenging them to say tongue twisters which they fail at and get a blast. When Kibaranger is about to get his, he sees his mom and runs after her with his normal boy voice. His mother disappears once again. The Vagabond tosses the bomb on Kibaranger anyway, flinging Byakkoshinken and the Kiba Changer. Kou is stuck in a tree and the Dairanger wonder how he got there. Vagabond takes advantage and fish Kou away. Back at the base, the Dairanger couldn't believe Kou was Kibaranger. Just then Byakkoshinken talks to them, they did not know he could and he explains to them about Kou. Just then, Master Kaku receives a message from Kou's mother. The Dairanger, Byakkoshinken, and Kaku listen to this message. The mother falls and Lin comes to the image, feeling for her and asks her questions. Kou's mother explains that Kou is half Gorma. She had to brand him to suppress his Gorma energy and hide him from the Gorma. Her image flickers. She pleads them to protect Kou and disappears much to Lin's dismay. The Dairanger are out on the city and discuss the situation. Lin's Great Uncle Grandmaster Yufang comes by and knocks Lin off her feet. They are all surprised to see her Meanwhile, the Gorma conduct a ceremony and dif where the capture children and Kou must dig. Shaddam and Zaidosu tease Kou that he is no longer Kibaranger. Kou spits on Shaddam's face and he hits the boy in turn. At lin's house, Yufang has them open three boxes to reveal the pieces for the Super ChiPower Bazooka he plans to build. Kazu runs to Kameo, in thought of the crystal he found and when he arrives to his house, he find a frightened Kameo who has turtle skin. The monster keeps kidnapping children with his fishing rod when the Dairanger without Kazu come along. Kazu and Kameo search under a bridge for the crystal. Kazu joins his cohorts and the tongue twisters start again. He then fishes out their weapons like the Daibusters and Dairinkens. Kameo finds the crystal and becomes a little turtle again. Kou continues digging with the other children and thinks of his mother. One kid opens one part that releases steam and makes Shaddam happy. They are asked to continue digging.
Episode 30: "Hissatsu Hayakuchi Shigotonin"

Ryou refuses to go along with the Fast-Talking Vagabond's tricks and throws his bomb back at him. Lin gets him with an attack and he retreats. The Dairanger come back to Yufang in Lin's apartment. Yufang makes light of the situation and Shouji tells him of the seriousness. Yufang then tells them that the new bazooka has new great fire power. Lin worries about Kou and his mother. kazu is about to leave and Shouji wants to know why and he explains he might have something that can help. He looks for Kameo but he is just under his feet, still stuck as a turtle. The kids are made to keep digging and steam continues coming out of it. Kou finds something and Shaddam knocks him out of the way. They find a symbol. The Triumvirate blows at a part and all the energy at the base goes crazy. The Dairanger come back and Kaku explains what the Gorma are up to. Byakko- shinken demands to go to, so Ryou takes him and they meet up with Kazu outside and transform. They call for the Mythical Chi Beasts. The Dairanger start practicing tongue twisters but only Lin is successful. Kou and the other kids are tied up to poles and are happy to see the Dairanger. The Triumvirate calls for power and disappear. Shaddam is huge and blows Ryou off his dragon. Gara blows off Daigo, Zaidosu blows off Shouji, Gara flicks off Lin and Kazu is flicked off as well. The Dairanger run to the kids but find the gas gap and the Trio in their way. Shaddam dons his silver form and grows big. The Dairanger jump into their beasts and fight Shaddam with Ryuuseioh. Gara and Zaidosu have the others on the ropes while Yufang works on the Bazooka. Ryuuseioh is brought down badly damaged by Shaddam. The Dairods, Dairinkens and Daibusters are all gathered a t a cliff, Daigo goes for them but is stopped by Gara. Ryou gathers his energy, has Ryuuseioh stand up and tries again. He whirls rocks on top of the gap the kids dug and the loss of power make the Gorma disappear. The Fast-talking Vagabond blocks the weapons and gives the Dairanger tongue-twisters and they successfully say them and blow him. He then fishes them over him with his fishing rod. Ryou calls the power of Byakkoshinken and he hits the monster. The Dairanger gather their weapons and Yufang successfully finishes the Bazooka and sends it to the Dairanger with his powers. They place their Star Swords into it and Lailai jewels become big balls that are placed in it. They then fire their bazooka that sends them flying backward. The Dairanger celebrate and release Kou and the kids from the poles. Lin and Kou have a touching reunion and he apologizes to them. They mention that they know he is Kibaranger and had him Byakkoshinken, who is teary eyed. Lin remembers what his mom told them about him being half-Gorma and the adult Dairangers grow concerned. Mugen becomes human again and runs away from the flying crystal. The Emperor lowers himself from the palace onto the now empty site and calls for an orb. It becomes his third eye. He gets the Fast- Talking Vagabond's fishing rod and lifts the boulders that Ryou had covered. He then fishes someone out of hell.
Episode 31: "Mata Deta Nyuu Hiiroo" (Again, A New Hero Appears)

The Gorma Shitennou pray in a room full of candles and Shaddam sends them a message. Kameo is turtle-faced and runs away into a building from the crystal following him. He ducks into a room and falls out a window and bumps into Kazu.Kazu asks for the crystal but Kameo just wants to get away from it. The Crystal breaks through the window and makes Kameo into a turtle again. Kazu is surprised to see the talking turtle. He is turned back into a human and runs into the park and trips over one of the Shitennou's canes. The Shitennou holds him hostage and Kazu fights them. Shaddam comes in and tells Kazu to surrender his weapons. Kazu tricks them and they let Kameo go. But Kazu is soon pinned by two of the generals. Shaddam laughs and puts a mask on him, putting him under a spell. Kameo runs away in fear as the other Dairanger arrive. Shaddam explains that he is under the Shittenou's control. Kazu is then tied to a pole in the base, while the team tries to pry the mask off but Kaku tells them there is no resolve. Their efforts are thwarted by the mask itself. Elsewhere, the Shitennou have joined the Emperor in his finishing expedition at the site dug by the children. Akomaru is lifted out of hell and many of the dead try to hold on but kicks them off. Meanwhile, Kou tries to catch the flying jewel for Kameo. Yufang and Lin come to Kameo. Yufang explains to Kameo that he was once DaiMugen. Back in the days of the Original Dairanger, DaiMugen helped them many times. Kameo doesn't want to believe it. Lin gets a message from his Aurachanger and Kameo hears that Kazu is in danger. Once he hears that, he gathers the courage to get the crystal and save his friend. Kazu with the mask is on the run and the other Dairangers chase after him. They then see the Shitennou at the top of a building controlling the mask. Shouji, Ryou and Daigo transform and face Cotpotros. Kameo, Yufang, Kou and Lin come along and Kameo shows Kazu the crystal. Kazu attacks him and then runs off. He tries to jump off the building but Ryou stops him. The four generals manipulate Kazu again. Kou and Lin then transform and join in the fight. Yufang tells them to take out their Lailai Jewels and call for the Bazooka. With the power of Kou's jewel and Kameo's jewel, Yufang powers the Bazooka up. He then calls it the Super Chi-Power Bazooka. They use it on Kazu and the mask breaks off. Kameo and Kazu reunite. Shitennou merge once again as the Gatai Gorma. Yufang and Kameo go to safety and the Dairangers call the Bazooka again and blast the monster. He then grows huge and he starts destroying building. The Dairanger call their Mythic Chi Beasts. Ryuuseioh and Kibadaioh square off against the monster but can't defeat him. Kameo watches his friends been beaten and the Earth shakes as the beasts fall down. Kameo grabs his crystal and remembers what Yufang told him. Kameo transforms into Dai Mugen! The Gattai Gorma acknowledges the new opponent and the Dairanger watch in amazement. Dai Mugen falls on his back and Ryuuseioh helps him up. The monster attacks Ryuuseioh trying to protect the turtle and badly damages it. Dai Mugen grows angry and transforms into his warrior mode and wipes the floor with the monster. Ryuuseioh jumps into DaiMugen to power up and Dai Mugen's shell is impenetrable. Ryuuseioh flies out of the turtle and the seven beasts form the Heavy Chi Palace and finally destroy the monster. The Emperor successfully pulls Akomaru out of the cavern and Akomaru thanks him and closes the hole with boulders. Emperor XV laughs.
Episode 32: "Ougon Kikku no Oni" (The Devil's Golden Kick)
A strange man with sunglasses drives a bus full of birds and chickens. The man awaits with balloons, bird and his vulture familiar on his shoulder. He whistles and the vulture flies into the air. Shouji calls Ryou but he rather sleep. The Vulture releases a balloon from his mouth and attacks women. Shouji leaves the telephone booth and mounts his motorcycle. He decides to pretend there is a Gorma attack on his Aura Changer to alert Ryou who jumps out of bed. Shouji tells his good morning and that it was trick which angers Ryou. Shouji then spots a little girl being chased by the vulture. The vulture plucks the girl into the air. Shouji rescues the girl and is chased by the vulture. They enter the telephone booth and the booth is carried away by the vulture. They are flown to a deserted quarry. The bus arrives and the man speaks a bit of Spanish. He moves the phone booth away to doom and Shouji transforms and saves the girl. The booth blows up, the man presents himself as a Gorma and Shouji tells the girl to go to safety. Birdcage Vagabond captures the girl into his cage. Shouji calls Ryou about the Gorma and Ryou, of course, doesn't believe him. Kaku does believe him and snaps Ryou out of it. Ryou comes racing to Shouji, just to see him be captured by Birdcage Vagabond. Shouji enters a foggy dimension where the girl cries and seems to be the Vulture's home. The vulture is released and is sicked on Ryou. The monster bids him goodbye and disappears on his bus. Zaidosu drinks a can and has a bag behind his shoulder. Back at the base, Kaku scolds Ryou and then explains that the Bird Vagabond had a powerful golden leg and one of the Dai tribe chopped it off. Meanwhile, the bird-filled bus gets to Zaidosu. Birdcage Vagabond laughs at him and Zaidosu is upset. The one-leg man blasts at Zaidosu and he runs away. "Adios Amigo." He wants his leg back, he drinks his alcohol. Ryou runs and lays on the grass. He then sees the vulture and chases after it. The bus comes out of nowhere and Ryou avoids it but is still harmed. The one-legged man appears and shoots at Ryou. Ryou ducks for cover and calls for the others. The others race on their Kiber Machines. Ryou holds the monster for a while. Shouji sees Ryou outside and yells to him and Ryou finally sees him and the monster tells him of the seriousness of the situation. That Kaku was the one who hid his golden left. Ryou tried to convince Kaku through telepathy to get the leg in exchange for Shouji and the girl. The others arrive to only face bombs being flung on them by the Vulture. The base shakes with energy. Kaku goes to where he has hidden the golden leg. A jar he placed it in comes out of the water. Kaku calls the jar to him slowly through telekinesis but is apprehended by Zaidosu. Zaidosu blows open the jar and transports the leg to the monster. He attacks Ryou with the leg and knocks him down to another area. Lin, Daigo and Kazu come and fight the monster. He calls for his vulture and it enters its dimension. Shouji clutches on the vulture when it is called out and escapes with the girl. Ryou kills the vulture with his DaiBuster. Shouji transforms and Ryou and Shouji does an attack together that dizzies the monster. They finish him off and when he grows big, and destroy him with Dairen'oh. Later, Shouji throws a helmet to Ryou and they ride off on his motor bike.
Episode 33: "Aidoru Hatsutaiken" (First Experience As An Idol)
Lin walks with breads in her hands and spots an injured bird. It falls and when she goes to catch it, a man's hands touch her as she rescues the bird. He helps her heal the bird and he takes her picture. He presents her with his card, Shouichirou Takamura, a photographer. The adult male Dairanger run to show Master Kaku a poster of Lin in an advertisement. He shows them an entire book of photos. They scream in amazement. They meet with her outside as she is jogging and she is modest. She bids them farewell and jumps into the air. During a photo session with him, she takes a picture of them together. She then sings a song in a recording studio with him in the booth. She becomes so popular that she signs autographs for many. One night, he comes to drop her off and she faints. He is concerned but she isn't. She is bashful of her feelings. She goes back up to her apartment. He develops the photos and Gara comes to him and reminds him of his mission. He becomes his gorma form, the Media Sorcerer-Teacher. Later, Kou and the adult male Dairanger grow concerned from what Byakkoshinken tells them. Young people all over see pictures of Lin and suddenly develop fangs. Together, a group of them blow up buildings and cause car crashes. The four adult male Dairangers notice this and try to snap the people out of it but they are under a trance. They are then blown away by a powerful attack similar to Lin's. Media Sorcerer-Teacher then arrives. Meanwhile, Lin has awakens from a nap. The four Dairanger fight the Gorma monster. He takes a photo of them that causes them to be frozen, for him to slash them. He bleeds blood due to Ryou's attack and retreats. Takamura comes in to the TV station hurt and Lin is concerned. She tends to his wound. She gives him the picture she took of them. She turns to leave, he calls for her and asks her why she always smiled and she told him because she liked him. He is a taken back by this. The four Dairanger see Lin performing her idol debut from an outside screen but Gara quickly comes to stop them. Lin sings her song, unknowing it will drain her entire soul. Her energy starts glowing a bright pink, the energy effects everyone watching. She grows weak and falls. Yet, this doesn't stop her, she gets up once again. He clutched his wound and remembered her words. He realized she did all the idol stuff not for her vanity, but for him. He grabs the picture. Gara wipes the floor with the Dairanger which makes her happy. What doesn't is that Takamura ran into the studio to get Lin out of there, to get her away before she could be killed by the steady drain of her soul. They go to the beach and he told her what he was, and though she refused to believe him. She clutched him. He then let go and ,he fell to his knees in the sand and wailed why he had to be born Gorma. So she came to him and assured him that, Gorma or not, he was Takamura and she loved him. And they were about to kiss when Gara arrived, peeved but neither of the lovers would yield the other to her. Erin's power was too drained, she could not transform, so Takamura defended her transforming into his Gorma-form to fight Gara. He called for a video tape version of Ryuuseioh's fire attack but it wasn't enough. Gara blasted him back to his human form. The Dairanger arrive. Lin ran to her love. And dying said to Lin he wished to be reborn as a human, so he could see her smiling face once again. He died and became his monster form again. Gara sneered at all this and blamed his death on the weakness of love. Lin furious, she went after Gara and calmly transformed into Houhouranger. She grabbed Gara by the cuff and punched her down. Gara threw the enlarging bomb at his corpse and Gara used his lifeless body as a giant puppet, which was destroyed by Dairen'oh. Lin promised she would remember Takamura forever, and always treasure their short time together. Instead of an explosion, he became energy and the photo she gave him fell on the beach. She went to get it and sang softly and sadly to herself. The others watched her.
Episode 34: "Togetoge Shoujo Gari" (A Prickly Maiden Hunt)
A woman sings in English on the radio, "Don't you know I can smell your cigarettes?" as a father and his daughter into a gas station. He honks the horn and the attendant runs out. He is rather effeminate and is entranced by the little girl. The father goes inside to pay and the strange man tries to kidnap the girl. The father runs and gets the girl away and he threatens the man. The man lifts the father in the air and tosses him. He then becomes his Cactus monster form. He throws needles into the poor father. The five Dairanger are nearby and singing in their car. The father comes in the way and explains what had occurred. The father faints and Daigo runs into the gas station to find the cashier lady paralyzed by needles. Daigo finds a small cactus plant and swears he saw it before. He remembers one lightly snowing night he was walking and saw a girl and she disappeared. She was caring to a cactus plant. He grabbed it and the girl Michiru seemed to be a ghost. He told her would take care of it for her. He tended to the cactus. But he lost it. In present time, he looked out the window and saw the same ghost girl in a white dress and parasol. He ran after her. Meanwhile, at a quarry Gara went to a truck where the General Cactus was tending to his dolls, who actually were paralyzed little girls. Gara orders him but he doesn't pay her any mind. Daigo continues running and ends up at the strange gorma's sight to find strange life-sizes dolls. He walks past one and it comes to him with a knife, Two others grab him, when he tosses them, they explode and he rolls down a hill. He spots his cactus on a table, suspecting it is the ghost girl. Then General Cactus appears. He makes the cactus become the Michiru and Daigo is shocked. General Cactus tends to Michiru, who he created. General Cactus transforms and throws needles to Daigo. Michiru runs after him and she is hit too. He takes out the needles and runs to her. She is now solid, she is groaning and Daigo holds her. Michiru closes her eyes. They are attacked, Daigo tossed aside and the girl is tossed unto a rock and becomes the cactus and pot, broken. The attack was from Gara and Daigo is furious. Gara tells him of a dead world she dreams of and she wickedly smears the broken pot and plant with her foot some more. Daigo transforms, Gara defies his attack and disappears, then giant red cactus appear and blast Daigo. General Cactus and the Cotpotro fight Daigo. Then the other four Dairanger run in. General Cactus blows them with fire. Daigo tells them to split up. Lin fights off square off against the strange doll warriors guarding the kidnapped girls. The three other rangers rescue the girls while Daigo takes on General Cactus by himself. The monster fills Daigo with needles but he gathers his strength and pops them out and the Dairanger use their Super Chi-Power Bazooka against the monster. He grows huge out of the explosion and Kibaranger comes in. They call their Mythical Chi Beasts. They form Kibadaioh and destroy the monster. Daigo runs down the hill to see Michiru go away on a truck. She is from the Gorma's hold and she disappears. He and his friends drive away happily. Master Kaku watches over them. The cactus Daigo took care of flourishes in the grass.
Episode 35: "Shin Ougi Kumo No Mai"
(New Secret Art Of The Spider's Dance)
Jin squares off with yet another master at the beach and he surprises the master by becoming his Demon Boxer form. Meanwhile, Master Kaku and his five pupils watch a Kenpo dance show. Lin catches Shouji sleeping and knocks him out of it. Back with Jin, he inflicts the poor man with the 'Dance of the Spider' technique. Daigo and Ryou walk together in the park and talk about Kenpo and find the injured man and the spider gets to the man's neck and he dies in Ryou's hands. Jin's coin flies into Ryou's hand. Daigo runs to fight Jin but Ryou stops him. Jin becomes his new Gorma form and Ryou transforms. Daigo watches the two square off. Jin inflicts Ryou and Daigo comes to his aid. Back at the base, Ryou is in a bed but screeching with pain. They see the spider on his body and Daigo is angry because he saw what it did to the man at the park. Daigo runs off to fight and the others follow him. Jin is at the memorial of his old sensei, the one who chopped off his hand and the father of the woman he killed to become a Gorma. Jin blasts the tombstone. Daigo, Lin, Shouji, and Kazu confront him. They transform and he fights them before they can hit the ground. Shouji crawls to Jin's feet and Jin steps on top of him. Zaidosu appears with a new monster, Sergeant Cannon.It blasts at the Dairanger and they retreat. Jin is upset at Zaidosu but Zaidosu more so because Jin won't obey him. Jin leaves and Sergeant Cannon targets him but Zaidosu stops him. Ryou wakes up to a cold sweat about Jin and his friends come to him. They tell him to gather his strength. When they get out of the room, they are less positive and hid from their leader that they are severely fatigued. They march on and Kaku watches this. The spider crawls higher on Ryou's chest, Kaku comes to Ryou. The four Dairanger are looking for Jin and encounter a strange dancer. The dancer slashes at them and reveals that he is Jin. Kaku has brought his Kenpo friend to Ryou. He drops his cane and steps on it. Ryou notices blood on his hand, blood from Shouji. Ryou realizes his friends are in danger and runs off. It is true, Jin is beating them up. Even when they are bleeding in the face, they won't give up and this angers Jin so he races toward them. Ryou comes in and saves them. Zaidosu tells Sergeant Cannon to kill the winner of the battle between Ryou and Jin. Ryou closes his eyes and is transported to a small stick over a large crater of water. He is first scared but he sees his friends on the other side cheering him on to walk with precision. His friends clasp his hands... he clasps Jin's in real life and knocks Jin down. The spider then disappeared. His friends were clearly happy and gathered around their friend. All five transform. And though the battle was not quite over, it looked like that would be Ryou and the Cannon fired. But Jin heard the shot coming and leaped between to protect his enemy. The shot took him down, and everyone was stunned. Jin had only saved Ryou because he wanted to defeat him in fair combat. Jin wanted to be the only one to do in him. The Dairanger had no time to mourn the body because the Cannon monster grew big. They were joined by Kibaranger. Ryuuseioh mounted Won Tiger and gave the monster a blow. Dai Mugren also came in to help and shot at the monster. Kibadaioh was formed and finished Sergeant Cannon once and for all. Deep in the mountains, Zaidosu carried Jin's body away.
Episode 36: "Uramibushi Rokusen Nen..." (A 6000-Year Grudge...)
[A recap of Kujaku's story is shown.] A mountain climber stumbles off a cliff to an area full of flowers and is attacked by a bright peacock. Meanwhile, the Dairanger are eating at Ryou's restaurant and watching a press conference. Daigo wants to go but Ryou stops him. Elsewhere, the Gorma Count Kaleidoscope is praying to a fire in a cave. Gara comes inside, he stands to greet her and shows her that Kujaku is nearby. Kujaku reaches the flowers the man landed on previously and is wrangled in by vines. Daigo arrives and saves her. The other Dairanger gather with Kujaku and she tells them that she has found the Peacock's Tears. Daigo tells her that he will help her. The Peacock's Tears has great rejuvenating powers. Master Kaku mediates and feels the Gorma's energy. The Dairanger wearily walk around the forest and are attack by flying branches. The six are attacked by Gara who sends the Cotporto towards them. The Dairanger transform and fight the Gorma. Kujaku duels Gara but Kujaku falls and Daigo blocks an attack meant for Kujaku. Gara still has the scar she received when she saved Kujaku when they were children. She retreats. Kujaku explains at last the story of her and Gara over a campfire. They were good friends and when Gara got that scar, Kujaku devoted herself to the art of Peacock Buddha to obtain the Peacock's Tears to heal Gara. But unfortunately, she had been gone for a long time and Gara had become a Gorma. The Dairanger walk towards a quarry the next day and are attacked by falling boulders. Kujaku is shocked to see yet another peacock feather fall off her and to be brown. Master Kaku makes the boulders disappear with his power. The Dairanger are shocked to find that Kaku has appeared on top of one of the big boulders. He explains of the dark energy coming from Count Kaleidoscope. Daigo then notices that Kujaku has disappeared. Kujaku wakes up in a dark cave and found the Peacock's Tears. It opens, Daigo runs in and tosses it. She is shocked but it becomes a skull with a snake in it. The snake slithers away. The others join them and they shout for the Gorma to appear. Count Kaleidoscope appears and attacks them so the cave starts caving in. The Dairanger and Kujaku mediate and pray, concentrating their energies. Count Kaleidoscope is hit and ends up on the shore of the beach. The six come out and Gara appears. Gara shows them the scar on her face. She tells them of how children didn't want to play with her. Kujaku feels sorry. Gara attacks them and Count Kaleidoscope faces them, so the five transform once again. Daigo wipes the floor with the monster and summons an illusion of Kujaku riding a bike. They defeat him with the Super Chi-Power Bazooka. He then grows giant and is killed by Dairen'oh. Kujaku is dying due to the pollution. Daigo embraces her.
Episode 37: "Hikken!! Dekee Yatsu" (You Have To See It!! A Huge Creature)
Kazu looks through his telescope at the moon, along with Kou and Kazu. He swears he saw a leviathan flying across the moon. Indeed, there is and it is heading for the Earth. Kameo's crystal reacts by turning him into a turtle. He turns back and is scared. Kazu relies this to Ryou the next day. They get an urgent message from Lin about gorma energy coming from her apartment. indeed, Kou is floating in the air in a yellow glow and everything around him is levitating. His tiger mark glows as well. Elsewhere at a game store, Shouji looses to a Pachinko Machine. He and Daigo encounter a strange man. The man manipulates the machine to win. Shouji precedes to play on the machine but the man makes almost every machine win. Shouji and Daigo try to apprehend the man but he throws them and becomes a Gorma monster. Before they can do anything, he forces everyone together with his power. When Daigo contacts Ryou, Ryou tells him he has enough to deal with. The monster runs away, Daigo and Shouji transform and fight him. He throws winning marbles at them and turns them into a collective soccer ball and kicks them and punches them back to their true forms. He retreats happily. Back at Lin's apartment, Master Kaku has arrived and Ryou remembers Kou's mother's words about the tiger mark she sealed on Kou to keep his Gorma side dormant. Unfortunately, once Kou becomes ten years old, their is a window for him to become full Gorma. Byakkoshinken tells him he will enter Kou's mind. Byakkoshinken enters Kou's brain. kou and Byakkoshinken are in the city but then it becomes a deep dark forest. A cart approaches wielded by a Cotpotro. Akomaru is in it and Kou is surprised. Byakkoshinken mentions that he was dead. Akomaru explains that the Emperor fished him out of hell. Akomaru reveals to Kou the Gorma Third eye that is growing on his forehead and attacks Kou. Akomaru shows him his special telescope and inside it, he sees their mother's message to Lin. He shows Kou the temple where he has hidden their mother. Kou turns to it but the temple disappears. In reality, the yellow orb of energy around Kou becomes bigger and then releases Kou. Lin goes to Kou but he is unconscious. Byakkoshinken tells them that Akomaru is back. The giant leviathan nears the Earth. At the Gorma Palace, the Emperor plays cards with Akomaru, not wearing the ceremonial mask and Shaddam, wearing the ceremonial mask, watches them impatiently. Akomaru already has his forehead uncovered like he showed Kou and Byakkoshinken. Shaddam is shocked to hear that Kou is half gorma and that he is Kibaranger, he wants to know where Akomaru got this information. Shaddam relays this to Gara and Zaidosu, the mere knowledge that Kou is Kiba Ranger gets them angry. Shaddam plots to turn Kou into full Gorma. Meanwhile, Pachinko monster is winning at the game place and a blue energy enters him, causing him to go stark raving mad. He runs out and causes havoc at an amusement park, Daigo and Shouji come in and fight him. The others arrive and they discover that Shaddam has possess him. He then grows big and destroys more buildings. Zaidosu, Gara and the Cotpotro come and fight the Dairanger. Meanwhile, Lin tends to an unconscious Kou. Kou becomes possessed. Kibaranger arrives at the fight scene and attacks Shouji and the others. Lin runs in and transforms. Kou attacks her. Byakkoshinken tells him to stop. Zaidosu and Gara laugh wickedly. Ryou calls Ryuuseioh and kicks the monster. They fight as Kibaranger and the Gorma take on the rangers. Kameo warns the rangers. The sky becomes dark and the giant dragon finally arrives. Its name is Daijinryuu and everyone cowards under it. Buildings shatter and pieces fall on everyone, no matter bad or good. it attacks the Pachinko monster and Ryuuseioh. Ryou calls for the Heavenly Chi Palace and tries to strike it but it is too powerful.
Episode 38: "Ee!! Teisen!?" (Huh!! A Ceasefire!?)

Daijinryuu lands its feet on the Earth and stands up right. Everyone cowards. It comes toward the Pachinko monster and it becomes normal human height and Shaddam pops out of him. Daijinryuu continues walking. His eyes then become red, energy comes from it and he eliminates a giant part of Tokyo. Among the flames, it wipes out Ryuuseioh. Meanwhile at the hideout, everything is shaken and Master Kaku wonders what it was. Ambulance wails and the Dairanger are out of their suits, Lin runs for Kou while the others help debris off people. Kazu goes to Kameo and says he knows who the dragon is. Master Kaku is shocked to hear ' Daijinryuu' as Kameo, Kaku, Ryou, Shouji, Kazu, and Daigo gather at the base. Kameo explains about the dragon. Shouji and Daigo blame the Gorma. Kaku close his eyes, he knows what he must do. Lin comes in asking for help. TV monitor shows the destruction Daijinryuu is causing over the city. Kaku turns to the team and tell them to take care of the situation as he ducks out. He goes to a wall at the back room and opens a secret passage through a brick wall. Down some stairs, he folds himself into a small crate and telepathy sends himself away. At the Gorma Palace, the Gorma cower as the man approaches. Shaddam is upset understandably. Kaku's energy blows them all away. Kaku confronts the Emperor to try to negotiate a cease fire. The old crazy man laughs at him. Kaku stresses the seriousness. The Emperor's eye shows them the Pachinko Gorma destroying the remnants of the city. The Dairanger want to fight it but Kameo warns them. They don't abide to the advice and transform and fight the monster with Dairen'oh. Kaku is amazed as well, the Emperor laughs until the palace itself starts shaking. Daijinryuu has deemed the Gorma responsible and starts attacking the palace. The Emperor falls from his columns and Kaku saves him. Daijinryuu then returns to the city where Dairen'oh and the monster are. Daijinryuu steps on the monster and splits Dairen'oh apart, knocking four of them out of the beasts and leaving Ryuuseioh and Ryou at its mercy. As Daijinryuu lifts his foot, Kameo becomes DaiMugen. Ryuuseioh jumps inside the tortoise, much to Lin's relief. Daijinryuu is upset and crushes Dai Mugen with his foot. The giant Leviathan's eyes die down and he releases Dai Mugen, staying perfectly still. Then he lifted off to the stars. Daigo wonders why. Back at the base, the four adult male Dairanger are surprised to hear that the Gorma have called a cease fire and that Kaku spoke to them. Meanwhile, at the Gorma Palace the Emperor is surprised to find something. Lin searches for Kou and finds Byakkoshinken. Kou walks aimlessly through the rubble hypnotized.
Episode 39: "Maken Rakujitsu Ni Chiru""
(The Evil Fist Scatters In The Setting Sun)
A cotpotro guards Jin in a prison within a cave. Jin tricks him and escapes. Meanwhile, the five Dairanger play baseball in the park. Ryou thinks back to when Jin took a hit for him. Jin struggles for balance as he escapes. Zaidosu was surprisingly pleased that Jin escaped. Ryou goes for a stray baseball and spokes a man's foot, even more amazed that it is Jin. Jin awakes in Ryou's room. Jin challenges Ryou to fight but faints. Back at the base, the others are surprised by Ryou's actions for taking in a murderer, a Gorma no less. And for the next few days Ryou tens to Jin, much to his displeasure and suspicion. At night, a woman is attacked by an unseen monster. Later at the train station, Ryou can't find help to move Jin up the stairs with his wheel chair so he carries him on his back. The monster attacking people at night is revealed to be Garouki, a skeleton-like beast who sucks on people's blood. Jin awakes the next day happy until he spots blood on his hand and that there is a strange growth on his right arm. Jin hid from Ryou in the covers to hide his arm. Ryou took Jin out into the daylight in a wheelchair. Jin asked Ryou why he was helping him and Ryou admitted he couldn't bear to see him die in such a manner. Ryou still believed he was a skilled master and i was a waste. Jin asked Ryou, if he became a monster, to please be the one who killed him. Ryou was frightened and confused, but Jin told him where to strike, and made him promise. Just then Jin started transforming and ran off. Garouki attacks two school girls in broad day light and the other four adult Dairanger fought him. Shouji hit Garouki on its right arm with his Darinken. Garouki retreated and Ryou continued to look for Jin. He found him clutching his bloody right arm. The other four see the bloody arm and deduced that Jin is Garouki. Jin then strangles Ryou until he turned back into Garouki. Zaidosu appeared and explained that Jin was now under his control. Garouki attacks the Dairanger on Zaidosu's command. It broke Ryou's heart to fight him, knowing Jin was not responsible for what was happening and would never have chosen it. Ryou reluctantly struck at that weak point. The monster clutched on Ryou and then pushed on Ryou's sword. Jin flashed in between both forms, Zaidosu blasted at Ryou and him and Jin split apart from the monster. Jin and Ryou fought together against the Cotpotro. Jin then donned his Demon Boxer armor and fought against Zaidosu. Zaidosu got the better of Jin. The five Dairanger fought Garouki and destroyed him
with the Super Chi-Power Bazooka. They went back to Jin, who was badly wounded. And Jin, though bleeding and weakened by t he battle, challenged Ryou. While the others watched, the two men squared off a final time who perhaps weren't fighting wholeheartedly. Still, it was Ryou who broke through Jin's guard to punch him, but stopped a short distance from Jins face. Jin knew then that there was no way the pair of them could ever test each other fully. Because Ryou particularly would never be able to strike the final blow. Jin sighed, brushed the boy's arm aside and scolded him gently. Ryou would rather he had stayed, but Jin could not and left. Zaidosu caught up with Jin crossing the des ert and released a herd of Cotpotro on him. Jin sent his coin spinning into the sky and fought. He fought by the sun set. The Cotpotro shot their guns. And he was cut down by gunfire because his coin hit the sand alone.
Episode 40: "Saraba! San Baka" (Farewell! Three Idiots)
Shouji gets knocked off his motorcycle to find the Three Gorma Idiots once again. This time they challenged him individually. Sumo against President Tombstone, in which the tombstone lost. Miss Telephone then released telephone cords to create a boxing ring and flew in with her cape saying 'Cuty Pink.' She swung three telephone received at him that exploded. Shouji then flew in the air and kicked the three down. General Kamikaze then challenged him to a motorcycle race. Back at a restaurant, the others worried about Shouji but he just looked at his watch, gave them the money for the meal and left. Lin tried to talk Shouji out of it but he just ran off with his motorcycle. Meanwhile, Zaidosu told the trio that they better not fail. Shouji rides in through the desert and General Kamikaze mounts his motorcycle and hands Shouji vernaculars to see the finish line. He showed him all the sights of the race had keys they had to get, mostly in places the Gorma have used though the year like the ship from the first episodes and the bus area General Cactus and the Bird Cage Vagabond used. Shouji and his motorbike become Tenma ranger and his Blue Kiber 3. Company President Tombstone straps bombs to both bikes. The bombs have three locks. I they get all three keys, they can take off the bomb. Shouji raced faster but Company President sent fire against him. Kamikaze gets his first key out of the ship and Shouji jumps over with him with Blue Kiber 3 and gets his key. Miss Telephone uses a telephone to spray Shouji with ice to stick his bike. An explosion occurs and Spray de-transforms and his bike becomes his regular motor cycle again. The other Dairanger confront Miss Telephone. Kamikaze and Shouji race on and Kamikaze gets his second key from the bus. Shouji gets his but he is falling behind, he quickly gets in front when they go through a warehouse. They race across a bridge on the way back to the finish line and go through a tunnel. Kamikaze swerves and gets in front of Shouji. The other two idiots watch in. Zaidosu had gotten tired of watching this and finally there was only one thing he could think of to do. Crossing the finish-line of the race would kill him, Zaidosu had set explosives. General Kamikaze was to throw the race if necessary, he tells him through the phone. But Kamikaze wants to win, he can't sustain it. He slows down and Shouji is known the wiser. Zaidosu is happy until the Dairanger appear. Shouji leads the race and Kamikaze knocks Shouji off his bike. Shouji is surprised when his bike doesn't blow up. Zaidosu blocks Kamikaze's way but only to get clutched to the bike. Despite knowing he blow up, General Kamikaze lived up to his name. His two friends, deeply loyal to him, raced out to try to stop him. The explosion was tremendous, and left nothing but flames. And Shouji grieved for the trio. Zaidosu rolled off and became big. Shouji, on his knees, curses Zaidosu and transforms. The Dairanger form Dairen'oh and fight against Zaidosu. They shock him with their sword. Won Tiger arrives and they form Heavy Chi Palace and flatten Zaidosu. He slides off and is flat, he disappears. During the sunset, Shouji mourns the three idiots and their spirits salute him. He screams into the sky. The next day, he receives a phone call and package from them. They are once again bandaged. They delivered to him a banner, with their encouragement written all over it. Shouji shouted out his window his thanks.
Episode 41: "Kujaku Dai Shouten" (Kujaku's Great Ascension)
[Recap of Gara and Kujaku's rivalry is shown.] Kujaku is dressed like a civilian woman and is at a harbor, Daigo meets her there and she thanks him and his friends for their help. Kujaku explains to Daigo that she is dying due to the pollution. Master Kaky mediates and has a vision of the Peacock's Tears and people being groaning from pain. Meanwhile, Gara drips blood from her hand on a wheat doll to create a Youma (monster). Kujaku is suited up again and she and Daigo visit a shrine and are attacked by Gara's new form Wraith Gara. She spits blue fire at them. Daigo transforms but is unable to touch her as she teleports fast. Gara, in her regular form, appears and teases Kujaku into following her. They square off against each other. Kujaku pleads to her but they fight. They end up at a quarry. Daigo still has trouble with Wraith Gara, he is snapped out of his armor and the ground cracks open and he falls in, clenching for his life. The other Dairanger come in but they are too late when Daigo falls down. He is stopped and lands safely. He has found the Peacock's Tears. Daigo then shows it to the other Dairanger. Kujaku is badly hurt from the duel and searches for Gara in the grass. Gara has her eyes closed and is bleeding from them. Now blind, she tries attacking Kujaku, fails and faints. Daigo calls out for Kujaku and then Master Kaku appears in front of the five at the quarry. He tells them of his horrible vision of people fainted on the ground. Daigo doesn't want to hear it and pleads them all for help but his friends just bow their heads. Daigo runs off and Kaku stops him, grabbing the Peacock's Tears from him. Daigo fights Kaku and manages to get the tears back but is blown down by Kaku unto the rubble. Kujaku then appears and takes the tears. Daigo protects his woman from his troop but she shakes her head. Kujaku stands up and addresses Kaku. She then leaves Kujaku goes to Gara, who is still blind. The Dairanger run after Kujaku to stop her and Wraith Gara is sent to battle them. They transform and fight her while Gara challenges Kujaku to battle once more. Kujaku reluctantly pulls out her dagger. Kujaku gets to the point of having her dagger at Gara's neck and then pours the Peacock Tear on her face, healing her wounds, what Kujaku aimed to do all along. Gara is more than surprised and weary of her kindness. Wraith Gara then disappears. Kujaku leaves with the tears, groaning. Daigo runs after her and Gara retreats. Kujaku tosses the Peacock's Tears into a lake. Kujaku then faints and dies in Daigo's arms. Kujaku raises her body up and the peacock energy takes her away and she flies away like a peacock. The Dairanger look up sadly as Daigo clutches her feather. Kujaku ascended to Heaven, in a beautiful white dress.
Episode 42: "Okaachan Itchokusen" (A Straight Line To Mother)

Lin at her apartment, hopes Kou returns. Akomaru comes to a temple and calls for Ikazuchi, a giant insectoid. Elsewhere, kids play soccer at the park and one boy calls their attention a strange footstep. They follow the footsteps through a forest and it leads them to the temple Akomaru was at. There they see Akomaru and Kou's mother chained. She pleads to be freed. Ikazuchi appears and scares the children and they run off. Akomaru orders Ikazuchi to go after them. Lin, in her bike, sees the boys and they tell her what they saw. They are then attack by the monster. She tells them to get to safety and transforms to fight the beast. She is knocked down and calls for the others on her Aurachanger. The others arrive on their Kiber Machines and join in the battle. Lin runs off to the temple and spots Kou's mom who Akomaru is having transported somewhere else. Akomaru calls Ikazuchi and he becomes big on his own. Ryuuseioh is called and kicks the monster down. Ryou tells Lin to get the mother which she concurs. Ikazuchi blasts down Ryuseioh with a deadly attack that affects everyone below such as Kazu, Daigo, Shouji, Lin and Kou's mother. Kou is in a cave sleeping and awakes. He becomes Kibaranger and stands up. The thunder energy awakes Daijinryuu and he flies back down to Earth. Won Tiger comes in and attacks Ryuuseioh. Kou's mother calls out for her son. Akomaru runs off with Kou's mother and she tosses a ring to Lin. Before she can explain, the earth quakes horribly. Daijinryuu has arrived once again. Ikazuchi retreats. Buildings break and people are on fire. He knocks down Won Tiger and Ryuuseioh. Kou struggles from pain in the cave and lays on some tocks, asking for his mother. Master Kaku is out in the city, on the roof of a building and looks at Daijinryuu. The five adult Dairanger join him. Byakkoshinken is with Ryou. The others ask where Lin got the ring and Ryou studies it. Meanwhile, the Gorma Triumlative and Akomaru are gathered. Akomaru leaves laughing. Back at the Gorma Palace, the Emperor is knitting a black garment. Shaddam appears and the emperor calls him out for not having his mask. Shaddam just smirks. Later at Lin's apartment, Lin looks at the mother's ring and wonders. She thinks back to when she toss her the ring. She then gets an idea and calls the others. They take out their Lailai Jewels and place them on a table. Lin puts the ring in the center and they make the ring glow. The ring flies away and the Dairanger follow it. Out in the city, the Gorma trio are again with Akomaru. He calls Ikazuchi which makes the trio scared. Akomaru orders his monster against Shaddam and their comrades. Shaddam tells Gara and Zaidosu to take care of it, while he investigates how Akomaru is getting all the information about Kibaranger being Kou and half-gorma. He sees Kou's mother and is plain shocked. She trembles. Akomaru comes in and calls Shaddam father. Then it finally hits her that the boy that has been torturing her this whole time is her son. The twin she left with the Gorma to protect the other one from being killed. She can barely believe it. Just then, her ring arrives and goes to her finger. The Dairanger arrive. Shaddam blasts at them and they transform. They leap outside and fight Cotpoto. A Cotpoto then has a sword on the mother's throat. Akomaru calls his monster to grow big and Ryuuseioh fights him. The sky becomes dakr again and Daijinryuu is back. Kaku, still on the roof of a building is weary of this. Kou, in the cave, wakes and becomes Kibaranger once more.
Episode 43: "Gekihaku Kindan No Kako"

Ryuuseioh continues fighting Ikazuchi while the Dairanger keep fighting the Gorma Trio and Cotpotro. Lin goes to the captive mother and Akomaru but is blasted by the huge Ikazuchi. Kou's mother runs from her captive's clutches to Lin who is on the ground. She protects her and pleads to Shaddam, who just arrived. Shaddam won't hear of it and blasts at both of them. Akomaru can't stand it and screams at him. Byakkoshinken, who is with Ryuranger, can't stand it and flies down from Ryuuseioh to attack Shaddam. Lin attacks Shaddam. Ryuuseioh kicks Ikazuchi three times and tries his finisher. Akomaru pleads for his monster to retreat which he does. Shaddam grabs Byakkoshinken and runs off with him. The twin's mother shouts out for Byakko-chan but it is too late, all the Gorma retreat. The five gather around the mother and she thanks Lin and all of them. All the people in the city gape at the dormant Daijinryuu. Just then, he energizes with red and becomes active again and blasts the city with a ray. He has hypnotized all the people of the city. Kameo, appears and runs to Kaku explaining to him what Daijinryuu had done. Back at the base, everyone (the five Dairanger, Master Kaku, the twin's mother, and Kameo) has gathered and Ryou wants action. Kaku tells them they must find Kou and asks his mother some key questions. She explains to them that Kou is almost ten years old and might be turned into a full Gorma unless they do something. She laments Byakkoshinken being taken. She pleads to Kaku for help. Back outside, the hypnotized population stand still on the roofs of buildings. The whole group goes to the roof. Kaku tells the Dairanger what they don't want to hear. They all then depart, leaving Kaku alone. Kaku goes to his secret underground lair and gets on his cart once again. Meanwhile at the Gorma Palace, Akomaru, Shaddam and Tenpou meet with the Emperor. Shaddam scolds Akomaru for talking out of line. Tenpou then grabs Akomaru and depart despite his objections. Shaddam seemingly looks at the Emperor with knowledge. Byakkoshinken swears the Dairanger will kill them to Zaidosu as the other Gorma laugh at him. Akomaru is tossed on the floor and the human-looking Gorma laugh at him. They start chanting then as Shaddam smirks. Akomaru runs off. Master Kaku then shows his presence. Shaddam and he stare at each other. Later, on top of a mountain Ikazuchi howls and cries. Akomaru also cries. It's Christmas and the Dairanger are sad. Kazu gives them each food and tries to look positive. The twin's mother looks over Lin's photo album in Lin's apartment as she fixes tea. Lin mentions Akomaru and the mother explains that Akomaru is her son as well. Just then, Daigo runs in and they go after him. Kaku has returned and tosses Byakkoshinken to Ryou and walks away. The Dairanger want him to come back but he doesn't. The mother places her ring in Byakkoshinken's mouth. The five Dairanger, the tiger sword, the twin's mother and Kameo go toward the cave in their jeep to get Kou. Akomaru and Ikazuchi watch them from afar. Kou awakes, the sun is bright. The team runs up the mountain. Kou groans. Kou clutches his arm and rips his jacket open to reveal his tiger burn. He then starts glowing red. The team arrives at the shore and Byakkoshinken brings to their attention the entrance to the cave. The mother runs to it, only to be blocked by Ikazuchi and Akomaru. Akomaru reveals his still growing Gorma third eye and joins into Ikazuchi, using him as a vehicle. Kameo gets the mother to safety and then transforms into Dai Mugen. She climbs inside him. The five Dairanger then transform. Ikazuchi and Akomaru both attack from their third eyes. Kou continues groaning and then stops, being engulfed in red. He becomes Kibaranger and sits up. Daijinryuu continues dormant and Kaku ever vigilant.
Episode 44: "Kandou!! Kimi Mo Nake" (Impression!! You Cry Too)

Akomaru and Ikazuchi match toward the Dairanger when Kibaranger appears and attacks the Dairanger. They plead Kou to snap out of it. Kameo becomes human again and Kou's mother runs toward her son. Kou calls Won Tiger and the Dairanger call their Mythical Chi Beasts. Ikazuchi becomes huge. Meanwhile back the city, Daijinryuu blasts his light again and the people he had hypnotized to line up at the building's roof start falling down. Master Kaku uses his power to levitate them or lay them safety. Daijinryuu then retreats and starts blasting the Gorma Palace once again. Shaddam watches this and is upset. Back at the battlefield, Ikazuchi and Won Tiger have Dairen'Oh on the ropes. Akomaru's mother screams at him and pleads for him to stop, telling him she is his mother. Akomaru is shocked. The other Dairanger are shocked that he is her son, except for Lin. The mother explains she loves both her sons and she pleads for forgiveness. Akomaru can't believe it and runs off. Ryuranger takes the chance and jumps out of Dairen'Oh into Won Tiger to snap Kibaranger out of it. Kou starts choking Ryou and starts flicking in and out of his armor. Ryuranger then punches Kibaranger in the stomach and he faints in his arms. Akomaru runs and hears his mother's voice, of when he had her captive. He shouts to the nothingness and gets on his knees. Shaddam appears and Akomaru reprimands him. Gorma is hate and Shaddam blasts at Akomaru. Akomaru barely stands up. Shaddam still wants Kibaranger on the side of the Gorma. Akomaru is blasted down by his uncaring father once again and galls to the ground. Ikazuchi breaks down the mountain, making rocks roll down. Ryuranger reunites Kou, Byakkoshinken and Kou's mother together. She takes him inside the cave once again as Ryuranger joins the others against Ikazuchi. The mother puts her ring again in the sword's mouth and calls for power to heal Kou. The power blasts through the cave and rocks tumble on her. She tries again and lightening strikes the sword. She uses the sword and Kou is levitated. An explosion occurs and the mother falls. She puts the sword in a safe place and clutches his unconscious son to wake up. The place is caving in. Her tears fall on his tiger mark and it disappears. He awakes and says mother. They have a happy reunion. The cave rumbles so more and she is struck by a boulder. Kou tries to help her but it is too late, she is dying. She tells him to continue fighting as Kibaranger. Kou cries. She knocks hi away and she is covered with rocks. Kou grabs Byakkoshinken and runs out. Akomaru struggles to stand up and enters the cave as Kou leaves. He sees his mother and he is stuck by a boulder as well. She reaches out for her son and he takes off his glove and their hands meet. She tells him she loves him, Kou is very upset, he wipes off the tears and becomes Kibaranger and calls for Won Tiger. Heavy Chi Palace is formed and destroys Ikazuchi. Daijinryuu flies away back to the stars and all the hypnotized people snap of it and start screaming. Kameo and the Dairangers gather with Kou near the shore and he mourns his mother. Kou cries in Lin's arms. Ryou comforts Kou and wraps him with his jacket. Kaku watches them from afar and cruses Shaddam, who is behind him. Shaddam comes closer to Kaku and tells him he wants to be the next Gorma Emperor and he is in his way. Lin watches a christmas display and swears she sees the twin's mother with Kou and Akomaru shopping but it is just a unknown woman with her two sons. Byakkoshinken, who is with Lin, says her name and it starts snowing. Back at her apartment, Kou looks out the window and looks at his mother's ring and mourns his mother. Lin comes in happy with touches Kou with her cold hands. They light the candles on their Christmas cake and enjoy a Christmas dinner.
Episode 45: "Maji de Kaisan!!" (Disbanding for Real!!)
[A recap of the events of Episode 44 are shown.] Lin and Shouji run to the base. Ryou, Daigo and Kazu are in their base and is now empty. They just have a wall in the way, similar to one Master Kaku used to go to the Gorma. Meanwhile, Kaku contemplates staring at a sunset thinking about each of his pupils. Clips are shown of when Ryou fights Man of Jar, Daigo fights Haniwa Ventriloquist, Shouji fights Purse Priest, Kazu fights Copy Empress and Lin fights the Kabuki priestling when he invaded a robot. Shiryuu Chuui, a supporter of Master Kaku, comes to him. He dons his armor. Later, Kazu and Shouji are walking around the city and see the armored Shiryuu Chuui walking through the city scaring people. The five Dairanger transform as they run to him and are beaten up. Shiryuu Chuui jumps up on the roof of a building and places a staff on the floor and lightning gathers and blasts them. They use their Chi-Power Bomber and a man in red armor jumps in front of it, deflecting it. The Dairanger are shocked to find out he is really Master Kaku. They talk and Kaku tells each of them their special qualities. They are understandably angry of his betrayal. He and Shiryuu Chuui retreats. Later at Lin's place, Kou and Kameo are relayed the information. Ryou tells Kou it is better he stays behind for his own safety and he protests. Shouji says something to anger Ryou. Daigo and Lin calm them down by going on with the plan. Meanwhile at the Gorma Palace, Shiryuu Chuui and Kaku speak alone in the great hall. His ally leaves and Shaddam teases Kaku. They confront each other. Shaddam leaves angrily and Kaku concerned. Back at the old base, Daigo, Kazu and Lin helplessly look for the opening on the secret wall. Daigo concentrates on one block and it opens revealing the secret room. They find their Kiber Machines. Shouji and Ryou gather by the tower Shiryuu Chuui place on a building's roof. Shouji touches it and is shocked to the ground by lightening. Ryou comes to his aid and then they hear screaming. Shiryuu Chuui is marching once again in the streets in his armor. They call the others and Kou is about to run to action and Kameo keeps him back, going by Ryou's wishes. The five walk slowly behind the marching man and then the police arrive, surrounding them all. The Dairanger run out of the way as a the police in riot gear confront the solider. Shiryuu Chuui, of course, attacks them. The Dairanger come to his aid. Ryou can't believe it., he goes angrier and the team transforms. Kameo runs after Kou and they bump into Kaku in his read armor. He asks Kameo for his transforming crystal which he gives to him. Kou refuses to give his Lailai jewel and Kaku forces the crystal out of the young boy's hands. He tosses Kou onto Kameo and Byakkoshinken reprimands Kaku. Shiryuu Chuui and the Dairanger fight.
Episode 46: "Hiiro Maru Hadaka" (The Heroes are Perfectly Naked)

Shiryuu Chuui is beating the Dairanger down and then Ryou gets the upper hand. Shiryuu Chuui then grows huge and attacks the city, blowing up cities. The Dairanger call their Mythical Chi Beasts and form Dairen'Oh. Shiryuu Chuui gives them deafening blows but they finish him off, much to Kaku's dismay. Out of the big explosion, Shiryuu Chuui is human size again and collapses out of his armor. Kaku clutches him. The Five Dairanger gather behind their former mentor. Shiryuu Chuui gives him tearful words as he dies in Kaku's arms. He then fades away. Kaku turns to his former pupils in anger and attacks them and then stops. He tells them that he is really a Gorma. He looks mournfully at Shiryuu Chuui's tower and places it on the ground. Lin protests. Ryou can't believe it. Kou and Kameo run in and Kou explains to them that Kaku took their Lailai Jewels. Kaku has no remorse, he has his reasons. He then them that they have to give him their Aura Changers. They grow angrier. Back at Lin's apartment, Ryou and Shouji get in another argument that Lin breaks up. Later outside, Ryou thinks back to when Kaku told him and Chou Ryou that Ryou was Chou Ryou's son. Lin listens to him. Inside, Daigo and Kazu comfort Shouji. Shouji screams and cries to Kazu. Meanwhile at the Gorma Palace, Kaku mediates as always. The five Dairanger run to the quarry and confront Kaku who asks for their Aura Changers. They protest and he beats them while not transformed. Ryou runs to him but Kaku lassos him and tosses him around. The five transform and the six circle each other while the Gorma trio watch. Each Dairanger tries a different attack which Kaku either deflects or reflects back to them. Kaku then does his attack on them and they fall to the ground. Kaku slowly walks toward them when Byakkoshinken flies to attack him but he stops him. Kou and Kameo have arrived. The Dairanger use their Super Chi-Power Bazooka which Kaku tries to deflect but is merely injured by it. Kaku stands up once more and calls for power from the two towers he had place in the city. Much to the surprise of the Gorma and the Dairangers, Kaku calls so much power to blast the Dairangers out of their suits. They bleed injured on the floor. The trio angry that Kaku has succeeded where they have failed before, retreat. Ryou struggles to get up and walks toward Kaku staggering. He clutches his ex-mentor by the shoulders and is punched in the guy. Kameo and Kou are about to run to his aid but are scared by Kaku. Later, Kaku had left them and the five Dairanger are still on the floor. Kou aids Ryou while Kameo throws rocks in water. They are surprised to find out Kaku took their Aura Changers.
Episode 47: "Suggee... Shinjitsu" (Wow... The Truth)

Shouji is jogging and practicing his boxing. Kameo is getting a haircut from Kazu, who still acts like a cool city boy when Shouji arrives. They say that they are enjoying their time off but still lament secretly. Meanwhile, Lin and Kou eat lunch. Kou is stubborn about the Dairanger, she tells him to forget about it. He tells her that his mother told him to continue as Kibaranger and leaves his mother's ring on the table. Kou runs off. The ring starts to glow and then back at the beauty shop, Kameo struggles. He then becomes a small turtle once again. Shouji is outside and gets side-crossed by a strange motorcycle. He then gets phone call from a public phone. The three Gorma Idiots appear and they cheer him on. Shouji then looks at the banner they made him, that he wears under his shirt. The three disappear and he folds out the banner to look for some form of answer but find none. Ryou, meanwhile is practicing his martial arts with no shirt near a flowing waterfall. He curses Kaku's name. A coin flies out of the air. It is Jin's coin. Jin appears but he doesn't speak. He kicks Ryou done and they spar. His overall message is to not give up and continue fighting. Jin then disappears with a kick. Ryou is encouraged once again to be a Dairanger and tells the Gorma to watch out. Just then at the Gorma Palace, the Gorma have gathered around in the great hall. Gara and Zaidosu come to a room where Shaddam is sitting in for him and he laughs, as he has secret info. Later, Daigo mediates at one of the towers Kaku had placed on a building roof. He looks at Kujaku's peacock feather and she appears, in her white garb. He speaks to her mostly, she just says his name and then disappears. Shouji comes to Daigo and so do Kazu and Lin. Lin Kameo in turtle form. Ryou just then joins them. They reunite and he looks at Kaku's tower, he tells them they must be a team again and they brace hands. Then they are attacked by Zaidosu. Daigo points at the tower. Zaidosu whips them with his red laser. While this is happening, Master Kaku and Shaddam face each other in the filled but silent great hall in the Gorma Palace. A gong is rung and General Tenpou announces. Shaddam and Kaku bow. The two want to be Emperor, Kaku is next in line. A gorma servant brings them a tray with drinks. They each take one. They both drink from theirs and Kaku tosses his, breaking the glass. Zaidosu tells the Dairanger about the two towers and that they are powering Kaku and they he aims to destroy them so Shaddam can win. The Dairanger do their stances, even though they can't transform. Zaidosu sends Cotpotro after them. Ryou jumps up to kick Zaidosu but he brings him down. Back at the palace, Kaku is dressed in his armor and prepares. He thinks back to each of his former pupils and they salute him. He remembers them fondly. He has had them believe he betray them for what he believes is the right thing. He then goes through the door of his room to a loud crowd. A servant calls Shaddam to come and he transforms in a red armor. Shaddam and Kaku face each other.
Episode 48: "Souzetsu!! Doushi Shisu" (Magnificent!! Master Dies)

Zaidosu tosses Ryou in the air. Meanwhile, at Shaddam's room, General Tenpou finds Shaddam with the Emperor and sees that the Emperor's hand is made of clay. Tenpou is shocked and Shaddam slices his face. He runs out and Kaku comes to his aid. Shaddam comes out of the room and Tenpou bleeds. The Cotpotro bring out the Emperor and Tenpou knows he is a fake. Tenpou dies in Shaddam's arms. Outside at a quarry, the human-like Gorma have gathered. Kaku and Shaddam face each other to duel. The Cotpotro bring out the Emperor and the other Gorma bow. The Emperor sits on a pedestal and the two fighters bow, Gara watches from a far. The Emperor tosses his pinwheel in between the two. The gong is rung and Kaku and Shaddam fight. At the same time, Zaidosu continues attacking the Dairanger. He sets a dangerous ball of energy and the Dairanger concentrate their energy to create a barrier. Lin says Kaku's name. Kaku has Shaddam on the ropes and tosses him up in the air to the ground. Shaddam comes back but Kaku gets Shaddam's sword and puts both swords on Shaddam's shoulders. He then kicks Shaddam down and drops his weapons, ready to fight without weapons. Shaddam, not being a fair man, he spits fire at Kaku. Kaku then calls energy from the two towers he placed in the city. Everyone is surprised by this and Kaku tosses an immense power at Shaddam, knocking him down a hill. Gara walks away. The Dairanger keep the barrier up but Zaidosu adds more energy and the barrier breaks. The tower breaks. Kaku tries an attack on Shaddam but fails. Shaddam gets the upper hand. The Dairanger groan. Only one tower is channeling power to Kaku. The Dairanger receive another blow, they have fallen and they all sees symbols: Jin's coin, Kujaku's feather, the idiot's banner, Kameo the turtle, and Kou's mother's ring. They all appear to them to cheer them on. They all clutch these items and their Mythical Chi Beat symbols glow. Their ranger-color energy flows through their bodies and the energy goes to the Gorma Palace. There in the empty palace, the seven Lailai Jewels, the Kiba Changer, and their Aurachangers have been gathered. They glow and they teleport back to the team. Jin, Kujaku, the three idiots, Kou's Mother and Kameo cheer the five on. They transform. Kou comes in with his Lailai Jewel, Kiba Changer and Byakkoshinken and transforms into Kibaranger. Zaidosu becomes big. Dairen'Oh is formed and Won Tiger switches to warrior mode. They fight against Zaidosu. Gara has gotten to the other tower and Zaidosu tells her to destroy it, which she does, causing Kaku to be powerless against Shaddam. Shaddam gives him big blows. Kaku can't call out a thing and collapses, much to some of the Gorma's dismay. Zaidosu thanks Gara back in the city and he reveals his volcano-like head that spit out large sparks. Buildings explode and the team are blind. Kameo the turtle walks near his Lailai Crystal and becomes DaiMugen. They form the Heavy Chi palace and squish Zaidosu. He becomes human size again and to his utter surprise, he is clay and he is breaking down. The six Dairanger watch as he becomes a clay statue. Gara shudders. The statue breaks apart and Gara runs off in horror. DaiMugen calls to the six. Meanwhile, Kaku is being severely beaten by Shaddam. . The five race on their Kiber Machines to where the Gorma were. Everyone is gone except for Kaku and the five see the Gorma Palace for the first time. They run to their mentor and he is dying. They say their tearful goodbye. They clasp hands and he dies. They cry and scream out his name. Shouji screams to no end. Lin and Kazu cry and Daigo tries to hold it in. Ryou clenches him. Shaddam laughs in the Palace.
Episode 49: "Sashuu Kessen Daa" (It's the Final Decisive Battle)

Kaku dies and turns into glittering lights that flies away. The five mourn him and Ryou swears to defeat the Gorma once and for all. The five of them gear up and they transform. They call their Mythical Chi Beasts, mount them and fly to the Gorma Palace. Inside the palace, the Gorma applaud Shaddam. He makes a speech. Gara runs in with news about Zaidosu becoming clay and dying. Shaddam just laughs at her. They then hear the Dairanger and all of them run to the front where they are fighting red Cotpotro. The other gorma run off and Shaddam calls forth two metal-faced silver soldiers looking resembling the armors of Kaku and Shiryuu Chuui. Daigo targets Gara because of her vengeance over his love Kujaku. Lin goes after Daigo. Gara jump out of the pyramid palace and Daigo and Lin follow her. They meet at opposite sides of a bridge. He recalls the events of episode 41 when Kujaku cured Gara's scars. Shaddam runs to his room and when Ryou gets to the door, it explodes, backing him up. Shaddam talks to the Emperor, telling him of the Dairangers arrival. He wants the Earth Shaking Jewel but the old Emperor refuses. The Emperor brings out the large red crystal. He blasts Shaddam with its power and he falls to the floor. The Emperor laughs and hits Shaddam again with the power. Meanwhile, Daigo is being beaten by Gara. Back with the Emperor, Shaddam reveals that he is just a clay copy. The column the Emperor is on shakes and he becomes clay. His hand crumbles and the Earth Shaking Jewels falls into Shaddam's hands. The Emperor screams as he crumbles and Shaddam laughs at his accomplishment. Only the Emperor's head is left. Back with Kazu and Shouji, they beat the metal-faced soldiers. Ryou comes and beats another one. Ryou tells them to call their powers to open the door Shaddam has locked. It blows up and they enter the Emperor's room and see the Emperor's head crumble. Shaddam laughs and appears on the top of the column. Back outside, Gara laughs because she is winning against Lin and Daigo. She goes after them again and Daigo calls for his illusions and Lin with her wind and knock Gara down. Daigo is about to give Gara a blow when his peacock feather falls and glows. Daigo and Lin are taken out of armor and Kujaku appears on a high point of rocks. She calls for the 'real' Gara. Daigo is shocked and so is Gara. Kujaku explains that the Gara they had been fighting was a fake so the real Gara has been dead all this time and in heaven. The evil Gara screams and turns to clay, breaking apart. Lin shields her eyes as there is just ahead. The real Gara calls for it to disappear. Daigo looks back at Kujaku, she and the real Gara hold hands and leave to the Heavens, not before Kujaku bids him farewell. Inside the palace, Shaddam uses the power of the jewel and becomes the new Emperor. He blasts at Ryou, Shouji and Kazu. Shaddam laughs much like the last Emperor. The three circle around the new Emperor and he lifts the crystal giving them a blow. His sanity slowly breaks down and he tortures Ryou knocking him everywhere. Daigo and Lin gasp as Daijinryuu has returned and now he directly attacks the palace. The whole palace shakes and everyone screams. Daigo and Lin fear for the safety of their friends. Dairinjuu breaks through the palace and it starts crumbling down. Ryou, Shouji and Kazu fall. Kameo and Kou come to Lin and Daigo. Shaddam curses the Dairanger and flies up and attacks the three men. Fire raises high in the air as Shaddam laughs. Daigo looks at the palace angrily.
Episode 50: "Ikuzooo" (Here We Go)

Daijinryuu continues destroying the palace as Shaddam keeps attacking Kazu, Shouji and Kazu. Daigo, Lin, and Kou transform and jump into the palace. Pieces of the palace rumble down, Shaddam gets to higher ground and the six regroup. Shaddam attacks the six with the Earth Shaking Jewel. Ryou comes up with a plan and they take out their Lailai Jewels. They gather up courage and put them together and give Shaddam a deadly blow. Kou falls and gets Byakkoshinken. They blast again at Shaddam and Shaddam at them and the two blasts make a big hole in the palace. Kaku's spirit tells them that the Gorma must be thwarted rather than be destroyed. Ryou protests. He disappears. Shaddam laughs maniacally and then the Palace crashes into a mountain. Rocks crumble and fall on Kameo. Kameo runs for safety. The palace falls more and is now in flames. The jewels glow and the Dairanger get out of armor, so does the Earth Shaking Jewel. The seven jewels retreat. Kameo's jewel jumps out of his pocket and leaves as well. The six try to get out,, Ryou goes after Shaddam. The other Dairanger protest but the palace is still shaking. Shaddam falls into the Emperor room and Ryou tries to get him out, much to his dismay. Shaddam fights him but Ryou just wants to restrain him. Ryou guts Shaddam with a knife. Mud spills out of Shaddam's mouth and his hand becomes clay. Ryou is shocked. Shaddam breaks apart, leaving a single eye. The palace shakes more. The other Dairangers managed to escape outside. The palace explodes. They scream their leader's name. Daijinryuu departs the Earth. Smoke rises from the rubble and the sun sets. The six friends get up and worry about Ryou. Ryou rises and falls down. The six yell his name and come to his aid. Shouji calls him a fool. It is finally over. Later, the five main Dairanger run happily. They stop at a park and sit in a circle. Shouji, who is standing up, looks fondly at the adventure. He thanks each member. He still wants to be a champion boxer. Kazu's spirits are up too. Daigo looks up at a twitting bird. Eyou smiles and get sup. The five put their hands together. Ryou says each of his friend's names. Kazu departs first. Then Daigo, Lin and finally Shouji who gives Ryou a friendly punch. Ryou walks on his own. He turns around and sees the spirit of his Master Kaku. He goes toward it and it is gone. He walks to the opposite way and walks along. Lin, fifty years later, is writing on her computer when she gets a phone call. She is happy to hear from Daigo. There is a picture of Kou, Lin and Byakkoshinken in the 'old' days and then a picture of Kou as an older man. Lin thinks fondly of their days as Dairanger and looks through a photo album. Then at the Master Kaku's old mansion, Shouji, Lin, Daigo and Kazu reunite at a dinner table. Lin puts flowers in a base. Shouji gives them a bottle. Shouji hurts his back. They talk fondly of their days, Ryou stumbles in talking about a Gorma attack. He turns on the television to prove it to them. Sure enough, it is a blue and white tube Gorma. He breaks buildings and people scream. A red car arrives. Five individuals run toward it. They are our heroes' grandchildren. Lin's granddaughter has glasses, Ryou's grandson is dressed like a geek, Kazu's grandson dressed much like his grandfather, Daigo's grandson has slick hair and jeans and looks tough. Shouji's grandson has bright color hair. Our heroes have gathered and are surprised to see their grandchildren. Kazu's grandson combs his hair. Ryou remembers what Kaku said about the Gorma never being destroyed. Daigo's grandson tells the group to call their Lailai Jewels, The grandchildren transform and they call the Mythical Chi Beasts once more to battle. They form Dairen'Oh and they destroy the New Gorma Monster. Their grandparents look fondly at their adventures when they were Dairanger. The grandparents applaud their grandchildren.
