Daigorou replaced Ooiwa as the Ki Ranger after Ooiwa became the commander of the Kyushu branch for a time. As Ki Ranger, he was armed with the Yellow Sticker, which was a fighting pole whose head can be outfitted with various attachments such as a punching fist and the YTC radio that is capable of jamming electronic circuitry. He rode in the sidecar of the Blue Machine and the Blue Star. He served as co-pilot of the Varibloom and Varidreen sky vehicles. In episode 67, he is stabbed in stomach by Can Opener Mask's Can Opener Cutter. He was succeeded by his predecessor Ooiwa.
